“We are not from Matawan, but from Royal Oak, and were driving through. A friend told me about Bird Dog and I am glad they did! A little gem. The food was complex and delicious, and had a great presentation. We sat at the bar to eat and glad we did! You get a front row seat to watching the food being made! Helped us decide what we wanted, although it all looked great! The staff was great as well, it was like a dance to make everything run smoothly and they execute it flawlessly.We will definitely stop back in the next time we are driving through!“

“Great service, great food even better ambiance. The food is great, freshly made. They have the best Cinnamon rolls but they ran out of the today( that's how good they are. You can order on line and they even have drive through. We ordered many times since the beginning of the pandemic. Love this place. A good family owned business to support.“

“When visiting our daughter at Western our family stopped at The Hanger for lunch. We were very happy:Food - Our daughter had a burger which was large, I had the fish tacos, my wife had pizza, my son had the mac n cheese brisket, and our other son had a kid’s cheeseburger. We also ordered an appetizer and drinks. Everything tasted good and was hot.Service - Our waitress was attentive and helpful.Atmosphere - Nice vibe and fun atmosphere. There were some TV’s and video game machines too.“
