“Food here is great. I love the fish, crab legs, and frog legs! The breading is also not heavy and seasoned! It has great flavor! Sandwiches, burgers, and appetizers are also great. Most of the decorations are political, but that doesn't bother me as much as it might others, so if you are politically motivated and have a more liberal outlook, I wouldn't stop by. I don't even agree with their political stance, but I can't deny that the food and service are both good! Also, everyone I have come across that works here, is very friendly and accommodating.”

“Very tasty and high quality food. They have a great menu with sandwiches, soup and entree options. The food was made quickly and my order was accurate. There were plenty of tables and no waiting for a seat. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us frequently. They only are open during breakfast and lunch hours.”

“Great pizza& amazing prices. Got the bogo deal, haven't fed my family take out that cheap in a while. asta portion was kinda small but was only $7, ill just know to order 2 next time. Pizza sauce was great and crust was crispy & chewy perfection.”

“It's a hole in the wall bar. Which those are the ones I like. The only thing I had an issue with isn't with the staff. There was no real issues by any means. I was just looking forward to having a night of playing pool with my husband and next thing we knew quarters were laid on the table, over and over and over... and over.... and over... when we walked in no one was even using the pool table. It was still a lovely night, and still had a good night. The people just seem pretty competitive here, one guy was trying to be a shark, at least on that night. I only got 1 game with my husband.”

“Well , first I’d like to say I worked at the LBJ years ago when the other owners had it ,,, I moved out of state , I have not had the time to come in and actually sit down to dine or lunch ); But with this being said we have got orders to go & food is as delicious as it always was and service !!! It’s sad seeing harsh reviews nobody is perfect , we all learn from them (; , it’s life , But all the staff and owners DO care and take the business very seriously and I can’t wait to come in and sit down relax & eat ! But what we have gotten , Always delicious! Hard work pays off & it shows in every way here ! Very cozy good people , great staff , Forever will be a fan of the LBJ ! “What a beautiful addition to Monroe! The interior is so beautiful, so many intricate details. Drinks are good and service is fast. The baked goods from local bakeries are delicious, you can't go wrong with any of them. I loved the music playing as well. A must stop if you're in the area!”

“Whenever I make a trip up here, it's always a treat to come to Misty's. The menu is ever changing, so I'll never really know what I want, but it's always pretty good and healthy. The owner is such a sweet lady too, she's always asking about my day and ready to strike up a conversation. If you're wanting some decent vegan food, I would recommend here”

“The food was delicious!! With excellent service, the staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. The price was really good for all of the food we ate. Ambiance is nice, quiet, clean. I can't wait to eat there again! The shish kabob combo was excellent! The bread you get with the meal is airy and tasty! The cheese bread was delicious and if you like garlic the dipping sauce was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!! New owners are amazing and gladly answer any questions!!”

“Edited review: They were able to rush some cookies but we only had 5 minutes before class ended to hand out the cookies for my son’s birthday. They didn’t charge us for them.Order cookies for son’s birthday party at school and called the day before to confirm , went to pick them up and they forgot about the order.”

“Food is delicious! They are famous for the mashed potato pizza and many other specialty pizzas. They make a special cake called HO HO Cake and it fly's off the counter within one day usually. The owner and employees are locals and are welcoming and kind. The bar crowd is friendly and hilarious. So much fun for idle conversation and well wishes. Try it - I believe you will like it! Not for snobs! LOL”

“My sister and I went on their "last day" of the season, we both had a flyer that said we wad guaranteed to win something, be it food or T-shirt. They had a deck of cards, and they spread it out into a fan shape and told us to pick one. We both got 1 pint of chilli absolutely free. I hope this is something they do every year. Their food is amazing. Root beer comes in tall glasses with handle on them that's stored in a freezer. You get cold pop without worrying that ice is going to water it down. You pull into a bay and sit in your car to eat. They have trays that attach to driver side window. Definitely worth going. Can't wait for them to open back up come spring.”

Restaurant shares a parking space with other businesses so number of spaces depends on time of day.”

The coffee was phenomenal, the Paula's Special Latte I highly recommend if you enjoy multiple flavor profiles in your coffee. Their cold brew is to die for. Seriously check them out if you're in the area! Right off 75 and located next to dispos for those who partake. It is truly a gem. Oh...and they support the local community and provide support for those in recovery and those who have been incarcerated. Definitely worth stepping into this place!!”

“Monica's is my jam! The best spot in Monroe for authentic doughnuts. They have two cute locations, one in Monroe & one in Frenchtown. They also serve up freshly baked goods; hoho (and other variety) cupcakes, breads, cookies, Rice Krispie treats, and so much more! The service is always friendly & speedy - always very helpful and patient. Be sure to give Monica's a try- you will love it!”

There were 24 of us and a reservation had been made but somehow it got misplaced.There was only one bartender-waitress and one cook.Our server Susan was awesome, she never lost her cool, she had a smile and jokes for everyone even though she got slammed.We will return.”
