“Pizza Rolls truly a Detroit thing invented for the Auto Worker's, that's a story for another day I know the history. Many don't know Jack's started in Taylor before moving to Melvindale. So 44 Year's going strong since 1978 a true Downriver Classic.
Nestled in a small building with a green awning on Allen Rd. is a family-run bakery with a passionate following. It's called Jack's Italian Bakery, now operation run by Jack's son doing a great job. Always a group of Friendly helpful ladies and super great prices. The Pepperoni Roll with Cheese my Addiction that you must try one, they warm it for you. Just one is a full delicious meal for me it's huge. So get this a Roll, Big 24 oz Pepsi n Walnut Dessert Bar only $ 9.75 out the door OMG. Cheaper than a fast food combo and the Pepperoni is heavily packed inside with Cheese. Sure everyone has a favorite spot, been to them all.
