Awesome Service, the platinum status of any DiveBar I've ever walked into.. from the OG rotary-phonebooth to even having a pool table.. NOT for the pinkie-in-the-air or wine drinker type of establishment.. absolute must!! 💯 visit for the authentic dive and historic bar connoisseur. “Best and most famous dive bar in Detroit. This place has been family owned for 100 years. It's very welcoming to whoever shows up. Straight, Gay, young, old weird or cool everyone hangs out here! No food besides chips. Its a block away from Little Caesar's Arena and across the street from The Masonic Temple (hence the name) so its perfect for a pre or post show round or two. Tell George and Larry that Perry's review sent you!“
“Hands down, my absolute FAVORITE BAR in the Detroit Metro area. August the bartender is one of the coolest people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to pour a damn good drink. Be sure to ask August for a shot of Fernet and he'll tell you "It's like 1000 fairies dancing on your tongue!".“

“This place came in handy We had my wife's repast here and the owner Cola he was great couldn't ask for a better host The atmosphere it was nice it was roomy even though they had you know their regulars coming in it was still enough room for everyone from the repast to move around and the regulars we didn't even notice him I recommend this bar to anyone looking for some place to have a nice calm drink because that's the atmosphere that's in there it kind of puts you in the mind of cheers where everybody knows your name not the sound corny but Port Bar you're all aces in my book“

“The prime rib was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the blue cheese dressing with the salad was fantastic. I have been coming to this place since I was a kid so when I was visiting from out of town I just had to visit. I am so glad I did.“
“Was in Bajhrain and staying at Diplomat. Remembered this place from previous visit.Its close by and does what it says...Old fashioned pub with good food. Only bad thing was it had a live band the night we went. Food good and service very good.“

“I think this place oughta celebrate MC5 for having a connection through Nunzio's. MC5is getting inducted into the Rock Hall soon with the ceremony weeks away. One of the places they hun out that is still standing should be a part of the allure of the Rock Hall Induction. Glad to see the building still going well. Best of Success moving ever forward.“
