We hired them to cater a pre-rodeo reception for donors and friends at the MSU Pavilion and couldn’t have been happier with the food. Brynn made the process so easy, from offering suggestions when it came to setting the menu, to setting up the day of, and following up after the event. The food was phenomenal, we had rave reviews from guests, and I personally can’t wait to bring family and friends to Saddleback for dinner so they can experience it as well. “Second time here and happened to stop in during the weekend brunch hours. It was a limited menu but it all sounded great. We got the wet breakfast burrito and burger. Wet burrito has beans, eggs, potatoes, chorizo, topped with mole sauce and pico, avocado. The best burrito I ever had!!! The burger was also delicious with two huge patties and egg on top. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Love the homey feel inside.“

“On a typical college town Saturday night at 1AM, the line was growing, and I also noticed the mobile order ticket queue growing as well. The team behind the counter was absolutely cool as cucumbers and extremely friendly. Despite being flooded with orders with less than an hour before closing, their attention to detail for every order they made by hand was impressive as heck. My pizza was absolutely delicious as well. “Heard of this place from a family member who saw them on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. Very cute atmosphere, although a little confusing since it's technically two businesses. Food was very well presented--artisan style. However the taste of their red sauce needs improvement--reminded me a bit of over the counter pizza sauce made with preservatives as opposed to a house made sauce. Over the top customer service though, and a wide variety of beers on tap.“

“I met a friend here because the kitchen is open until 10:45, and we were hungry. Had the duck fat fries (which were the best item of what we had) in addition to the deviled eggs and a pizza. They kill you with add-on charges (over $1 for a side of ranch or garlic sauce for example, plus more to sprinkle a little cheese on the fries). The deviled eggs had a very odd chemical taste to me, which I think had to do with the mustard used. The pizza we had, which was some prosciutto and habanero cream combination recommended by the chef was nothing special.The atmosphere is good, and even better when the patio is open. Don't expect a good value for either the food or the drinks when you come here though...“

When I compare pizza, I compare it to Westside's every single time and there really hasn't been one that I can walk in and get a slice at any time like Barnhill's Westside. The place has never changed since I was a kid, and they have many options made from scratch. Subs, pizza, wings, ribs, breadsticks, soups, or a home-baked dessert you simply cannot go wrong here! Even the single slices of pan pizzas to go are my utmost favorite when I am back home. A pan pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms is simply amazing. Rob is a good guy and makes sure everything is consistently done right, everyone that works there is nice and their pride shows. They've got plenty of drinks and snacks inside as well...and a cool front door! “This unique spot is located in an interesting area. There were bookstores and theatres all attached. The brewery itself was a really beautiful building. They have a mug club that they partnered with the pottery place next door. The beers were delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves. They participate in hop passport so it's a great deal. They also participate in tagabrew. So we grabbed a couple tags and were on our way to the next stop!“

I've only had one issue with the food the last time I went, and the waitress resolved it well. There just happened to be some parchment paper stuck to the bottom of my desert, and I didn't see it until I took a bite. The waitress offered to take the item off or get me a new one. I opted for a new one to go, and there were no issues with that one. Overall, it's a pretty good restaurant, not quite five stars, but almost.Vegetarian options: The spaghetti pomodoro is full of flavor and very filling. I haven't tried the other vegetarian options, but I would expect them to be on a similar level.Parking: Large parking lot shared with the shopping center.“

“Waits can be EXTREMELY long even with the call ahead option, we waited 2 HOURS after being told it’d be 20-30 mins from the first time we called and then when we were checking in we were told 15-20 mins, not bad that’s okay… well then we waited another 10 mins after the 20mins and asked again, the hostess rolled her eyes at me and said “20-25 minutes” que more waiting… and then after waiting for TWO HOURS we were finally sat, I understand it’s busy but Christ, foods awesome our waitress was awesome.
