“First time stopping here although we pass through Mesick often. I wish we would have stopped before today! Great food and a really cool atmosphere. Our server called it a great dive bar and I couldn't agree more. This will be a regular stop now.“

“I had the chicken fried steak with some of the most delicious mashed potatoes, gravy and baked beans (with real bacon in it!) I've had in a long time. I brought home a brownie with sea salt caramel ice cream (in separate container for travel home) drizzled in choc - totally off diet, lol, but delicious. Hubby had the most huge olive and swiss burger. The mayo, specialty made, was amazing as were the thick slices of pickles. He also had a (very good, he said) bowl of chili. He said it was very delicious. It was a great surprise for him.The food was so good that I had our waitress, Fiona, take a five dollar bill back to Teresa, the cook, as a thank you for the great food. Fiona came to the table and said I'd made her day, lol. Good!Highly recommend and will be back!Parking: Lots of room.“

“I stopped at this place on my way to Traverse City, and it was DELICIOUS! I got the big breakfast. Everything was perfect! The eggs were so hot and good, the bacon was crispy (my fault I forgot to ask it to be made soft, floppy), and I was surprised how the hashbrowns actually tasted like potato. I thought all hashrowns were like at Denny's (tasteless). But the best of all were the:Sausage links. OMG so good and SO HOT! At most places they are lukewarm, but here they were so hot and tasted so good. I swear the last time I had such good and HOT sausage links were when my class and a bunch of classes from a bunch of schools went to a place called Mystic Lake Camp. I've always remembered how good and HOT their breakfasts were even when serving hundreds of students and dozens of teachers.“

“Group of 5 from Georgia. Traveling back to Traverse City. We stopped for lunch and we were greeted and welcomed as if they knew us. Staff was extremely pleasant. Food was extremely delicious. We were introduced to the owners, who were also very nice and welcoming. The entire experience was so good, we considered making the drive back a few times just to eat again.“

“We've been here twice. The first time it was highly recommended and we decided to try burgers. My partner thought the burger was great and I thought it was ok. We went again because the pizza and calzones are rumored to be amazing and they looked so great when we went before. I had the calzone and it was great! The servers both times were super sweet. It wasn't busy either time but the environment was comfortable.“

“A locally owned and operated restaurant that does it right. They have a great selection of food. Their breakfast is fantastic. We like to stop in and enjoy their selection of local honey and Maple syrup as well.Parking: Plenty of room for your motorhome, RV, or 5th wheel trailer.“
