I do food & restaurant reviews throughout the Mid-Michigan area and this past Saturday was my first time ever in an A&W establishment. I was very pleasantly surprised. Home to some of the best chicken tenders out there. The Papa Burger was hot, juicy, and flavorful; stacked tall with fresh veggies made it all the better. French fries put to shame those of many of their competitors in the industry. The staff was friendly and attentive. Lavatories were clean and well stocked....
Outstanding service. Quick, very friendly, polite and checking to make sure everything was great. Loved the coney dogs and very good root beer. Even saw a friendly bear walking around and buddying up with kids inside and outside the restaurant.
My husband & I had a kidless night and randomly picked A&W to try. It was a first time for us and we were pleased with our experience. Food was fresh, fries were hot(the best!) and floats were delicious. All of the workers were very nice.
