Burger Restaurants near Milan

“This unprepossessing burger joint in a small town is something of a hidden gem. Their burger is a smashburger that seems to be made of onsite ground beef. The pulled pork sandwich is actually a chopped pork with coleslaw and their barbeque sauce. The sauce is not a sweet sauce at all, nor is it mustard, it tastes like a vinegar based sauce but it is so heavily spiced that the spices make it thick. Their sides are large portions, and they are very large. The coney dog is a skinless hot dog with a wonderful chili sauce, diced white onion and yellow mustard. The chili sauce is a cut above, the dog is nothing special, but altogether it is a great hot dog. The biggest thing here is the price! Their "slider" is the size of a McDonald's burger and you can get 5 of them for $7! Their normal portion of wedge fries is large and is $2, a "family basket" $6.25 and is an full fryer basket of lovely skin on wedge fries. Come try this place, it's worth the trip.“

“It took 3 times to get the order corrected, but the young man at the register (Chase) was very patient courteous and helpful. Thank you Hardees for recognizing potential in the younger generation. I recommend this location solely because of the service that this young man provides.“

“First, I'm in no way affiliated with the Milan McDonald's or any of its employees. I realize that the Milan McDonald's, along with many others, has been plagued over the past several years with employee shortages. This has certainly contributed to patron dissatisfaction, especially at certain times of the day. Unfortunately, the employees that do show up for work frequently receive undeserved criticism and even become the targets of insults and profanity. Although no employee of any company is perfect, those that are responsible enough to show up for work and offer a service should at least receive some credit for doing so. However, despite employee shortages, I believe the McDonald's and Milan Michigan is above average in many respects. This is the only restaurant that I patronize over 250 mornings a year on average. And there's a reason for that. Although the food may not always be as fresh as desired, the employees are always willing to exchange or somehow compensate the patron when asked to do so. For " regulars" like me, the staff typically goes the second mile to make sure that my order is correct and fresh. Sometimes they throw in a special perk, such as a free soft drink if the wait is abnormally long. Or allowing me to have free syrup even when my order did not include hot cakes. Although it's impossible to list all of the morning managers and employees by name, I extend well-deserved kudos to Casey, Amanda, Lisa, Shannon, Cheyenne, Kayla, Katie, Faith, Damien, Allison, Lily, Lindsey, Vicky, Ryan and others. All of these (and others) deserve far more credit than they get. Which is why I plan to patronize the Milan McDonald's for years to come. May God bless every employee at the Milan McDonald's.“

“Our hostess Nancy had the nicest smile as she seated us! She introduced our waitress Ray Lynn. Ray Lynn listened to our questions about the menu and helped us settle on a shared Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad (delicious) and our entrees the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp (delicious)! That was the best meal. We pretty much licked our plates! Thank you, Applebee’s & Ray Lynn, for making a rainy day shine!“

“We had excellent service from Brenda, who was so concerned that I not eat anything that would make me sick. I have a gluten sensitivity, and I ordered churro fries with chocolate, thinking “fries, that’s potatoes, I can eat that”. But after thinking, I looked it up and it’s flour. I was still ready to eat then but she offered me soft serve instead so I wouldn’t get sick. I really appreciated her concern.

Add to that , I thought the impossible burger was a little tastier than usual.

“In reply to Erica,I have lived in Saline since 1968. When I was a teenager I knew all the employees because they were classmates of mine. My High School aged son is having the same experience now. Having local teens working the store is what makes the atmosphere fun. Somehow this place has always attracted the nicest kids to work for them. I still believe this is the best Dairy Queen around. We go regularly all Summer long and never forget to tip the staff!“

“Want to say thank you to the Burger King in Belleville on Rawsonville Road. Food was great. Service was great. I did lose my wallet there. They were kind enough to pick it up and put it in the safe until I returned as I retraced my steps. Great people great place thank you.“

“Happy to eat at a Coney Island white back home in Michigan. They don't have Coney Island restaurants in Minnesota. Besides the famous chilli dogs it has Greek food. I had a Greek salad with gyro meat. It was good but the waitress forgot the Greek dressing.“

“Got a malt for the first time awhile ago and was extremely disappointed in the lack of malt taste. Next time I asked for a lot of malt and they got it perfect, I mean I couldn't have made it better myself! I hope this is how it is all the time now!“
