“The event space is so cute and cozy. We loved how warm and inviting it was. Very cool, down to earth place. My absolute favorite thing is that you can bring your dogs inside! Oh, and the fire pit outside is pretty freaking cool! There were so many different options of beer, my husband got the sweet cider and I got the Kombucha (which has no alcohol) and it was delicious! However, just last weekend we had to place a large catering order for my rehearsal dinner and I just wanted to share our great experience! Our friends and family loved the food. “We stopped on the way home from Frankenmuth. We always stop when on trips up north. Today was HIGHLY disappointing. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. The bottom bread was soaked, I’m guessing someone didn’t drain the sauerkraut. I pointed it out. Instead of taking the plate to the kitchen to remake the sandwich she went to get a new bun. About 15 minutes later. I said EXCUSE ME , she said she’s waiting for them to make it ?? It wasn’t toasted or anything what’s to make ?? Still waiting…she brought me a piece of bun. Now the cheese is cold all in a clump and I had to make my own sandwich. I could have done that at home. I have NEVER not tipped until today. Most was brought home so I can warm it up and make it properly. I didn’t hit DO NOT RECOMMEND only because over 16 years this was the first incident. The waitresses handling of it was very poor !! And it wasn’t busy what so ever.“

“Finally got to try this place. I love burgers and try them everywhere I go. I had the Southwest burger with tots. The burger was possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Tots were awesome, nice and crispy, Alexa’s fries were awesome, again, nice and crispy. Kelly potatoes salad was great as well with a sweet relish flavor. A simple lemonade to top it off. We left with an egg nog milkshake to go. Everything was great!! Go check it out!! I will be going back for the breakfast items I saw on the menu.“

“The small alleyway hidden gem hides itself above an alley in Flint. Going during daylight hours is my preference, but the locals seem to have no issues enjoying it afterdark where it is sure to be filled with customers, as it was my first time years ago. “We had Thai Nation in Burton tonight and… WOW. 🔥 Everything was absolutely delicious!! Fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Zero complaints, just full bellies and happy taste buds! 😋 From the crispy spring rolls to the perfectly cooked noodles and rice dishes, every bite was incredible. The owner/cook was so friendly and professional..you can really tell he puts his heart into the food. It’s a small local business, and if you’re someone who loves supporting places like that (especially when the food is this good), I highly recommend giving them a try!“

“Visited evening of June 30th.

Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.

Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.

“My daughter and grand kids took me to Dom's Diner for "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Everyone's food was great. My daughter had fish and fries, one of the grand kids had the alfredo with shrimp and chicken. My other grand son had chicken and fries. The youngest had mickey mouse pancakes with bacon. It was the first time I tried chicken and waffles, they were delicious. The waitress went above and beyond, and you can't find this time of service everywhere..“

“Big Boy brings back Nostalgia for me and anytime I’m on a trip I try and find one in Michigan. Reminds me of days gone by. From the moment I walked in I was met with a smile and was immediately seated and a waitress came over and took my order and although the restaurant is older and looks like it might need some updates, the food was great, my big boy burger was overflowing with hamburger as the portion was excellent and most of all my chocolate shake was phenomenal as I’ve tried shakes all over the world but none compare to the big boy shakes and I found this out years later as the secret is they use ice cream. So come to the big boy in Clio Michigan for great service, great food and the best milk shakes!“

“So we calorie splurged on a Big Ole Applebee's burger and switched up to waffle fries (for a nominal fee), and got 5 and a half waffle fries on the plate... not at all what we expected for an upcharge side. Our server agreed that was 'kinda skimpy' and said she would 'go yell at him for us'... We never saw a manager to flag down, which is unusual at Applebees, and will probably go to a different Applebees next time. We do like menu and the food, but there's an Applebees at every exit!“

“This Applebee's was located in Flint, Mi. I was meeting family there. This restaurant is located just off 69 Hwy at Miller's Rd. Bear right at the light and you're a minute away.
The food was very good and you have many items on the menu to choose from. Service from the staff was pleasant and wait time for the food was great. Not too fast, but time to have a few sips of your beverage.“

On June 8th the time of the order was 12:53 P.M. The brisket was not tender the chef was stingy on the chicken, all in all the package was not worth $49.82 Whoever the chef was June 6th give him a raise. I cannot say the same for the order Feast for Two for the chef that served it.“

“Big Johns is a Flint icon!! If you want a tasty, belly filling sandwich, this is it!! It's Not the cheapest, but, it is the best. I highly recommend the steak and onion, the club and other sandwiches are great as well. Though, their reputation was built on the original steak and onion!!!“
