“I went with some friends to have dinner. It's an older restaurant with John Wayne as the theme inside. It was a busy little place. The prices were fair on the menu. The waitress was very attentive. It was a lovely time with my friends.“

“My Girlfriends and I wanted to come support there little business and immediately got shot away when entering the building saying there's a 2 hours wait time....there was 2 people in the entire restaurant... shortly after they decided to let us order. The food was good, but when we got the bill there was an insane amount of upcharges....it was $32.00 for lettice, a Dixie cup of soup, and kids meal... Than after asking about the uncharges they were very rude...and still made me pay. There menues were very vague and didint say what was in any of the meals....Than there was a tiny sticker at the counter stating they upcharged there menu prices.... They like to offer things but don't tell you it's upcharges, so beware.... little disappointed and probably won't be back. Smh.“

“The event space is so cute and cozy. We loved how warm and inviting it was. Very cool, down to earth place. My absolute favorite thing is that you can bring your dogs inside! Oh, and the fire pit outside is pretty freaking cool! There were so many different options of beer, my husband got the sweet cider and I got the Kombucha (which has no alcohol) and it was delicious! My brother in law got "the farmers daughter" and also a pint to take home! Pizza was yummy! They didn't skimp on the salad toppings♥️“

Our expectations weren't just met, they were exceeded in taste, price, proportions, and friendliness of the staff. We will be coming back for one more breakfast before we head home! “Visited evening of June 30th.

Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.

Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.

The only reason I'm not giving five stars is cause we got the buffet and the pancakes were hard from being on the warmer for such a long time. When someone came to add more pancakes they didn't take the hard ones away just put new ones on top.

The owner/cook was so friendly and professional..you can really tell he puts his heart into the food. “waited too long in drive thru, hot my order wrong, refused to show us the receipt, ordered extra fries as a side and just got the normal amount but charged for double, charged us different prices than was on the menu not just a dollar like tax either it was a lot more , when asked to give us the items messed up or missing from orser extremely rude old waiter with a mask (only person wearing a mask, take a hint lady)and wrinkles she wore at us and tried to charge us 7 more dollars then threw our money at us and told us not to come back ....dony worry we wont your food ain't that good, we come there out of convenience not prices or taste...we will make the drive to starlight from now on“

“Everyone knows Starlite is great. Thats why they're the last ones standing. Flint used to have so many restaurants, most were good. Over the years they have all closed but Starlite still stands and expanded! All their food is excellent! My favorites are The Big Sicilian and The Butcher's Chop Omelette. If you haven't been to Starlite, you're not from around here and I strongly recommend you stop in for a meal!“

“My daughter and grand kids took me to Dom's Diner for "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Everyone's food was great. My daughter had fish and fries, one of the grand kids had the alfredo with shrimp and chicken. My other grand son had chicken and fries. The youngest had mickey mouse pancakes with bacon. It was the first time I tried chicken and waffles, they were delicious. The waitress went above and beyond, and you can't find this time of service everywhere..“

“So we calorie splurged on a Big Ole Applebee's burger and switched up to waffle fries (for a nominal fee), and got 5 and a half waffle fries on the plate... not at all what we expected for an upcharge side. Our server agreed that was 'kinda skimpy' and said she would 'go yell at him for us'... We never saw a manager to flag down, which is unusual at Applebees, and will probably go to a different Applebees next time. We do like menu and the food, but there's an Applebees at every exit!“

“I’m not normally an adventurous eater and I was intimidated my first time there. I recently went for the second time and it is now one of my favorites. The food is delicious and the preparation is entertaining. The service was exceptional. It’s more expensive than I prefer but was absolutely worth it as a sometimes treat.“

On June 8th the time of the order was 12:53 P.M. The brisket was not tender the chef was stingy on the chicken, all in all the package was not worth $49.82 Whoever the chef was June 6th give him a raise. I cannot say the same for the order Feast for Two for the chef that served it.“

“Big Johns is a Flint icon!! If you want a tasty, belly filling sandwich, this is it!! It's Not the cheapest, but, it is the best. I highly recommend the steak and onion, the club and other sandwiches are great as well. Though, their reputation was built on the original steak and onion!!!“

“My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here after it was recommended by the B&B we were patronizing.
Reservations are not required, but we made them just to ensure a seat. They do recommend calling 24 hour ahead for reservations.
We had a couple of drinks (pretty good), but no appetizer due to a late lunch.
I had the ribeye, which was slightly overcooked, and a baked potato (yummy). My wife had the salmon, which she loved.
She also ordered carrot cake to go and to be enjoyed at a later date.
A note on the decor - there is a lot to appreciate with the stallion wall murals and the tree art on the floor.
They also have patio seating, which we did not partake.“

“Ruggero's catered my mother's 80th birthday party for 50+ people. The food was out of this world and the prices were very reasonable. People kept coming up to me asking where the food was from because they loved it so much. We all agreed it was the best lasagna we'd ever had. The staff was amazing to work with as well.
