We past this on the way to the Keweenaw Pen. & I made my husband reroute our trip so we could stop on the way back down! Oh man, was it worth it!
The Whitefish was phenomenal, so much that my non-fish eating daughter now eats fish! Generous portions for the price! Appreciated having the picnic tables to enjoy our food,rather than our vehicle.
So glad we stopped!
I would say that the fish basket is worth the wait, but that would be misleading because these guys HUSTLE. They are masters of their craft, and they don't waste time. I'll just say that after having even one piece of fried whitefish from Cap'n Ron's, you'll be chasing that high for the rest of your life. it's THAT good.
Simply fantastic fish! Planning to go back tomorrow if they are open!
