We liked the uniqueness of this local business. Regulars came and went and the waitress seemed to know what they liked. I'd rather support a business like this than a chain restaurant. “This is the best ice cream anywhere. And I even am comparing it to other Dairy Queen's. They serve the ice cream at the correct temperature. A lot of places don't know how to keep track of the temperature that the ice cream should be. Always so creamy. Some ice cream is too cold believe it or not.”

“China King is (IMHO) the best Chinese restaurant in Jackson. The food is high quality with generous portions. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient. I live on the opposite side of town, and I passed two other Chinese restaurants on my way to China King.The food is well worth the drive. One caveat, I wouldn't say it has a good dining atmosphere. It is clean, but not set as a place I would take a friend to dine in.

“I always treat myself to a late lunch on my way home from my Chelsea Hospital appts. My favorite is their pulled pork sandwich with french fries. Their portions are large. I take half home for another tasty meal. Missy comes out and visits with the customers which makes it a friendly and comfortable place to dine. I make this my place to eat on my way home to Jackson.”
