“Rude waitress,told NO when asked for about a tablespoon of sauce for my burger and waited an hour for food then the waitress informed us that she forgot to put in order. Another rude waitress thought this was pretty funny and said oh well“

“Heads up for anyone looking at the online menu in 2025 they haven’t updated it yet but the prices of things have increased significantly. I ordered what would have been a $35 using te online prices but with the actual prices it turned out to be nearly $65“

“I waited several minutes at the bar before someone came to take my order. There was no one behind the bar (it was just past lunchtime and the place was not busy). Food was delicious although the steak (8 oz. Bourbon Street) was overcooked. When I pointed that out to the server, he immediately returned it to the kitchen and ordered another which was cooked to order. He also gave me a complimentary salad. Over all, good service, once started. Pleasant atmosphere.“

“Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.“

“Haven't been in a while. Pretty sure you changed the meat in your dip sandwiches. You should go back to the original meat you used this isn't near as good as it was the first several years.“

“Typically pretty hesitant to take four of our small children to a restaurant especially a nicer restaurant. They were extremely accommodating and very kind. They did not make us feel out of place or like we shouldn’t be there at all. Our server was amazing and beyond patient. The food was really good.“

“Honestly, my experience today made me a patron of this Big Boy for life. My husband and I took our 4-year-old to celebrate her last day of school. The service was attentive and the food was good. While we were there, more of my family wanted to come and join us and have desserts so we stalled for a bit. When my family arrived, my nephew went and played the claw machine...and the machine didn't drop the prize right and it got stuck. The manager and staff went above and beyond trying to help make this right for him. And not only that, the manager gave my daughter and niece a special prize also. I understand not all days will be like this and this won't be the same for other customers and the crane machine isn't even their problem, but I left the restaurant with 3 children who were made to feel extra special by the manager and that wins every time. The manager also chased me down outside the restaurant to give me my sunglasses I had left at the table. This manager went above and beyond for my family, and I guarantee she will give superior service to anyone else who enters this establishment. Her staff was great, but it's probably because she's an amazing also!“

“My husband and I have lived in North Muskegon on Bear Lake all our lives and BLT was a staple for our families. However, had not been back for many years after bad experiences with new ownership. Now that’s it changed hands again we decided to try it. Service was phenomenal, food was great!! Planning on going back next week!!!“

I had broccoli and cheese soup. 1 of the best that I have tried in a long time... I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The mashed potatoes were hot and delicious. He had lake perch, which was crispy breading and not overcooked. He picked mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, which was really good 👍..... “Five stars. My son is special needs and accidentally pulled a large vase down over top of him in the round booth and shattered it on the table. Within seconds, there were three different staff helping clean up and getting us all new drinks just in case glass went in them. They also moved us to the booth directly next to us so they could thoroughly clean the booth. Their food is always great, especially the pizzas but the service after this accident was outstanding. We felt so cared for and loved by the staff after this. 🥰“

Staff are personable and attentive - service is excellent. Unruly cares about it's customers, as noted by the yellow safety paint on the step down, front entrance. Well done, I say. “We went to Russ' over the weekend. We each had the Traditional Turkey Dinner. Along with the very tasty tender turkey, the meal included stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a roll. The cost was $14. It was filling and very tasty. Our waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing. It was nice to go to a restaurant with a family feel.“

“We decided last minute to try The Lake House for dinner tonight. We didn’t make a reservation, yet we were seated at a table outdoors almost immediately. Sharon was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She quickly greeted us and got our drinks. Within minutes of ordering I got an alert on my phone of an incoming storm. That’s on us for not checking the weather and asked for our order to go. Sharon went above and beyond and somehow managed to find us a table indoors! Food was delicious and Sharon continued to check on us. 10/10 Food and service!“

“I’ve been to Rocket Pizza & Subs three times at this writing and I expect to order from them more often. The pizza is delicious and I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying it. I just moved to this area and the first night I moved in I was just calling around for someone who would deliver, and I had great service from them and a speedy delivery. The second order I picked the pizza up, as I did tonight. They make an excellent pizza and the garlic bread is fantastic! They also have a lot of items on their menu and I am looking forward to trying other menu items as well. Tonight when I called a gentleman answered and he seemed to be having a rough night, because he was quite rude and was having some difficulty understanding a straightforward order. But the pizza was wonderful and everyone has a bad day now and then.“

“I have been going to the Red Rooster Tavern for more than five decades. It is a warm, casual, wonderfully friendly atmosphere, with attentive and cheerful staff! The food is outstanding, especially their homemade pizzas, the Jack Daniels, burger, and the famous rooster balls! They have trivia on Monday nights between 7 PM and 9 PM. They also have live music on Saturday nights as well. It is the only bar and restaurant within an 8 to 10 mile radius. Many thanks to the wonderful staff that makes this truly an awesome experience! “I went into Bob Evans this evening on Sternberg road in Muskegon Michigan and I had the most amazing dinner. the Southwest avocado omelette is delicious never had anything like it. pancakes or fresh and a point per usual there must be an amazing cook in the kitchen. my server was attentive and always had my drink refilled. I will definitely be coming back. the highlight of the evening was the hostess she was quite pleasant and had a great sense of humor. the hostess was definitely a hard worker she never quit moving. Bob Evans is grade A“

“I had the wet burritos, sauce is housemade.. very good. Only complaints are not enough sauce and way too many refried beans compared to beef for me personally.
My boyfriend and I shared the pickle fries, super yummy! & their ranch is really good!
Their chips are also made in house and are delicious!“

“We used to love Brooklyn Bagels other than the occasional we don't have any bagels (Odd since that's literally in the name) but within the last 6 months they have gone downhill. We have visited 2 of the locations and had the same results. Long waits, Chai used to be amazing, is now watery. No one seems to be managing the location we've been too, just a bunch of teens trying to figure it out. Currently at the Apple location and have waited 20 minutes for 2 bagels with minimal other customers. We try to support local but will need to move on from this local business. Too many chances given.“
