“The absolute best little bakery and cafe. Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It’s all home made from scratch and so so so good. It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. It feels so good to be able to go out with my little daughter and be able to feed her good food she actually is excited to eat. A very special place!
Kid-friendliness: They are SO good about your littles. My girl loves everything there, cookies, sandwiches, soups, quiche. The staff is super kid-friendly. We go so often, my 2 year old girl loves them all!“

“We had Cakes by Stephanie create a 2-tier wedding cake for us. The cake was gorgeous, just what I had envisioned, and also SO delicious. They were so easy to work with throughout the process, very responsive, and just a delight! We had a lot of compliments from guests on the white cake and raspberry mousse we chose!“

“Cafe Sweets was the only local bakery that could make the custom bear themed cake pops I wanted for my baby shower. I sent a Pinterest photo and they were able to make them look exactly as pictured! I will be using this Sweet shop in the future!“

“Monica herself fulfilled an (almost) lifetime dream! Working in polish-dominated Hamtramk, MI, I fell in love with paczki. Moving to Belleville MI, working in Toledo, I needed to find REAL paczki - that pseudo-paczki-junk at Kroger/Meijer is a jelly bismark. Monica makes real paczki. I've gone there from Traverse City since retiring in 2017- on trips to two Monroe fundraisers falling close to Fat Tuesday. The banquets fell 10 days away on either side of Fat Tuesday this year. I called the store, hoping for a pre-or-post Paczki Day special order. THE MONICA, herself, called to get my order. I took a chance to ask if she could do a dozen poppyseed paczki. My Auntie Bessie used to make poppyseed 'shishka', a bohemian version of polish paczki, in the 1950s. I've not had one in 65+ years, after moving from Chicago . Every year, I've wondered if a paczki-maker would be so kind as to fill some with poppyseed. MONICA MADE ME POPPYSEED PACZKI - out of this world!!! THANK YOU MONICA!!“

“Kylie from Customer service was fantastic! We needed a combination lock for our middle schooler so we called to see if Kroger had any, not only did Kylie locate them but she even offered to hold it up at the service desk for us to easily obtain!!!“

“I have really enjoyed the ice cream bunny cakes I've purchased in the past years. Unfortunately, this year is different. The cookie on the face of the bunny was completely unedible. It had a very strange flavor and left a bad aftertaste. We didn't even try the tail cookie. All the inside cake and ice cream and frosting was delicious though.“
