“Have been there a half dozen times and their filet mignon is about the best I have ever had. Slightly crunchy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The accompanying sauces are all great as well. Shrimp cocktail are huge and the sauce is a different and better variation. Great wine selections and excellent service any time. Beer can desserts are ridiculously good. I have never had anything here that wasn't great. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. They are known for their "Sword of John Adams'. I have never had it but I have seen people order it and never able to finish it all.“
“We made reservations for a dinner on the day of our visit and were lucky to get a good table. I recommend making reservations in advance to avoid being seated in the Bistro. Also, be prepared to utilize the bookstore parking lot if registered as a guest of the Morris Inn because the lot next to the Inn requires an electronic pass. I am unsure whether parking can be arranged during reservation. Regarding our interior experience, dinner was easily a 5-star event. We were placed in the care of a kind and sophisticated waitor and generally pleased by the overall conditions of the restaurant. Procession through the University toward the Morris Inn was magnificent. We shall certainly return here soon. I recommend the duck with a Manhattan and Death by Chocolate for dessert.“
“We had the traditional bar food off the menu which was traditional bar food taste. I forgot to try the jalapeño ketchup. This is a really fun location as it has a lot of the fire dept history. The service was great, our waitress was super sweet.“
“Always consistent with its amazing service and food. Definitely our go to place even with our child with special needs. Manager went out of his way to make our day and he didn't even know it. We're always so afraid to take our child to a sit down restaurant because he has melt downs. Those are no fun for us nor people around us. But when staff sees small kids they move a little more swiftly and it's appreciated.“
“I did not know if this place was legit or a scam but it’s real guys they are legit all the way I definitely will continue to buy their products. Tim Scott Columbia SC I’ll probably go on google and leave this same review my Dad needed a FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader he’s been pricking his finger for years and that makes being healthy and checking his blood sugar, a daunting task that he did not like to do and often did not do. However, when I told him about the freestyle libre system, he was very interested and wanted to get it, but because we’re all veterans and the VA is very slow nowadays to getting us what we need, he didn’t feel confident that he can get it through them so I definitely saw different meanings of acquiring the product for him.“
“Very much a mom and pop type place, the pancakes are so tasty and the servers are ALWAYS friendly, not pushy or rude like other places. The cook will even come out sometimes to talk with us. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay open long enough. It would be nice to have dinner there on some cool, crisp summer night then relax outside on the bench. Or just have a good, relaxed place to eat dinner.“
“I visited my home of Michiana & brought my partner to Cheers b/c I love seeing the progress they’ve made over the past few years—& when they made some new wings, I’m like, “put me in, Coach.” I also used to live up the road when it was under former ownership. I love them, and continuously send them love, but I gotta tell you, THIS is exciting & I have my own spots in St Louis & Jax, FL lol.We got the sweet n’ spicy and the Aunt Matilda. I was on the fence on getting others due to familiarity & craving what I know, but after hearing about the story of Aunt Matilda sauce & the flavors, I dove into the saucy experience.Aunt Matilda was a blend of many savory flavors and enough sweet & ingredients to balance it all out.Sweet n’ Spicy. Loved them & super snackable—even when I was full, I wanted to continue to eating both style of wings ?My partner & I wanted a little more spice on the sweet n spicy bc it was mostly sweet. She is not a spicy fan either. If I was at my house I would have added maybe red pepper flakes or something as a hint of, “oh hey there, heat.”That said, these are the best wings I’ve had at any bar in the area. I’m stoked to visit again when I am in town & try all of the flavors. If I lived here, I’d be getting these, in bulk, for every game & every function that needs some snacks. It totally works as dinner too. EAT THESE lol.I’ve had wings in various states & these are ?P.S. spirits & beer selection ?“
“Great dinner vibe. Friendly staff and good food. Lots of drink options and specialty beers on tap.Update: 2nd visit December 2023, just as good. The food was a little rushed and bland this time but it wasn't a huge deal. Server was nice, that usually outweighs any minor food issues. Visited on a Monday night, it was busy and energetic.“
“Not bad mouthing this Historic bar. Great ham sandwich. Only a four on service not because of the staff, usually under staffed because it's full!!! Atmosphere is what you want. We've been there so many times it obviously didn't bother us. Going on 200 yr old building. GREAT HAM ?Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to door.“
