“Veterans breakfast this morning. Breakfast bar for Veterans. Truthfully not very good as a whole. Good biscuit and gravy and ham pancakes. But it is the thought that counts. Providing a meal and location for Veterans to discuss availability of Veterans benefits and resources.
Ordered food looked pretty darn good.
I don't mean to be overly negative.
They are really good people and good people go there to eat. I thank them for providing breakfast and space for about 30 Veterans.”

“I had the Rodeo Burger with fries. The burger was nice and juicy, the fries were not salted to death like some places, the people are amazing. It's definitely a good place to go for a nice quiet lunch.”

“Took my dad on an outing for his 87th birthday and stopped at Jill Beans in Jonesville for an early lunch. He LOVED his coffee and eggs!!!! The young lady at the counter was really friendly, helpful and quick! Later, I realized I left my wallet and called them the next day. They had it with everything still in there (including cash) and mailed it to me to save me the trip back. Talk about going above and beyond!!! I don't get back to Michigan as much as I'd like and it's a few hours each way from my dad's, but we will definitely make a repeat visit as frequently as we can!!! If you're looking for a great coffee place and equally wonderful people, you will find them at Jill Beans!!!”

“If you’re looking for a place that feels like home the moment you walk in, The Deck Down Under is it! We come here at least once a week (sometimes more!), and every single visit is amazing. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious—honestly, we’ve never had a bad meal. Peggy is hands-down the BEST server ever. Her one-of-a-kind sense of humor keeps us laughing the entire time and is a huge reason we keep coming back. She makes every visit feel special. The rest of the staff is just as incredible—so welcoming, friendly, and they always go out of their way to make our family feel comfortable. They absolutely adore our kids, which means so much to us. “The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The service and coffee are excellent. This is a great place to read, do homework, or chat. Ear pods are a good idea if you need to concentrate, study, or block out background noise. I only had coffee, but I suspect the food is also good.”

“What can I say....The Cowboy Up Burger has to be one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Seasoned perfect, the right amount of BBQ sauce on it. and the enough toppings to satisfy that that do not overpower the flavor of the burger.

Now on the other hand, the caramel custard pancakes, cooked just right. I just wish this place was closer to me.”

“I’m so grateful to have this restaurant just a quick walk away. The pizza is excellent. Right now, I’m obsessed with the artichoke pizza. I’ve loved Negronis for years, and St. Joe's has the best I’ve ever had. I recently went to a highly rated restaurant in Cleveland featured in Saveur, and their Negroni was nowhere near as good as the one at St. Joe’s.

More than that, I think what truly makes St. Joe's special is that they understand that families and friendships are built around shared meals. You'll leave with more than just your taste buds satisfied.”

“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!”

“Pizza was great, but the only thing is. I feel extremely bad for the woman working. I assume she was the proprietar. She seemed over worked. She was super nice, and accommodating. I unfortunately have to recommend that you stop. Hopefully she can get some help that can feed you the same love, she fed us. The pizza is phenomenal. The bread sticks remind me of crazy bread 30 years ago, but better. Please stop and get some good food.”

“I can see this being the hottest place in Hillsdale. You can enter the building and go to the Cafe without a gym membership. But if you are a member of the gym you could workout then get a smoothie right after! Sounds good to me! I'm so excited to see what the Wellbeing Café will serve in the near future!
