“I am so happy I chose Chowhound Gourmet for my wedding this past weekend. I could not be more happy. The servers and chefs were phenomenal! The food was outstanding! “I've never heard of that place before and feel bad because it's amazing. I love their cherry chicken salad and carrot chips with that yummy dressing dip on the side. It's very rustic, fresh, and super tasty. My favorite sandwich place by far. Will highly recommend!“

“11/11/2025 We had a small special dinner party planned out with Mike Eckles of Abode. We had to work around our guests’ likes and dislikes. He could not have been more helpful in planning the menu. Chef Aletha made the evening wonderful. They bring everything and leave the house in great condition. Nothing but praise for the delicious food (fish based, but not salmon), the presentation and her flexibility to make it a perfect evening. Her presence added to a wonderful dinner.“

“This was the perfect venue for my reception. This place comes with food served (2 entrees, salad, 2 pastas, potatoes, vegetables, beverages), bar tender(optional), and DJ connections. The price was reasonable, and the owners accommodated all of our needs. We were able to decorate the day before. The entrance was room with plenty of space to decorate. Plenty of room in the parking lot. The owners are very nice and friendly. I will definitely use this place again for other events.“

“We had our wedding shower at Guernsey Restaurant last weekend & could not have asked for a better experience! We had 35 people and the waitresses were on top of everything the entire time. I’m not sure if this was planned or if she just did it, but one of the waitresses was almost entirely dedicated to me as the bride, making sure I was never without a drink, being there for anything that was needed, they were wonderful! The food was amazing and of course the ice cream is the best around, but the service was what made it truly special!“

“Our family stopped In there today to try for the first time. We had 2 Large steak burritos, 1 veggie burrito bowl and 2 churros. Food was amazingly good. The establishment was clean. The staff was friendly. All the food options looked and tasted fresh. Churros rocked. Heck I might stop in just for those alone. I would highly recommend this place over the large Corporate chain options out there. Hope these guys stay around for a long time“

“We ordered a two tier birthday cake somewhat last minute and the cake was OUTSTANDING and EXCEPTIONAL. The top was a perfect carrot cake. The bottom was vanilla cake with Bavarian cream and fresh strawberries and simply delicious and perfect. Finished with a vanilla buttercream on top. The design was as requested. We will be ordering again!“
