“Hi. I was looking online for a good sandwich place and got a corned beef sandwich today. The staff and overall experience was great! However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. The meat was good although the portion seemed a bit light and the sandwich overall was excellent. I'll come back but won't ask for cheese on my sandwiches.“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Went here to grab a quick bite to eat. We had chicken tender and fried chicken breasts. The macaroni salad was great. Everything was hot and fresh and they had such a great variety of fresh food to choose from. They have a mini deli with lots of salads to choose from. They also sell polish sausages, fresh salads, banana pudding, potato wedges and more. Staff was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat on the go.“

“Well, I literally haven't been here in about 25 yrs easy!!! Of course, the price of everything has jus about doubled, though! I believe they are cashless, but will accept tips. Your order comes up pretty fast, but it takes a while for you to actually get it as the lady is doing too many other things as to actually give you your order. It's pretty ridy inside and jus as i remembered when my dad use to bring us here when we were much younger. I would return as the fries were delicious. I wouldn't get the eggs rolls again as they were skinny and tough. Not worth the price. And the chicken gumbo was ok.

I can honestly say I can eat one of their sandwiches ? twice a week and they are an hour away (I'm from Flint) best sandwich I have had in a long time!!! Most definitely recommend them! While they are high the quality of their meat, bread and ingredients totally makes it worth it!“

“Tucked into a little strip just off Woodward with office buildings all around, this suburban deli is probably the antithesis of a NYC deli: quiet, relaxing, more like a coffee house with food instead. They do a heck of a takeaway business as I found out while I ate in.An avuncular gentleman greeted me well before I made it to the counter. Great sense of humor, too. He joked with the other staff when not waiting on customers.I ordered a full Chicken Greek grilled wrap. Everything is available as full or half. Full wraps are $13, halves are $10. The other sandwiches are similarly priced.Only had to wait a couple minutes for my sandwich to be made.It was mildly flavored, the Greek/Italian dressing & feta really the only flavor involved. No olives, lots of iceberg and some tomato accompanied the chicken, as well. A touch dry, too.Plenty of seating if you want to stay. They even have electrical outlets under benches so you can recharge your electronic leash, I mean, cell phone.There is a restroom but you have to go into the kitchen to get there.

Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, quesadillas and sandwiches can all be had without meat.

Parking: 22 spaces in front.

Kid-friendliness: Unless your kids are feral beasts, they'll be fine here.

“We just booked CJ’s to cater our country wedding reception with their Pig Roast menu. The food was fantastic! We had plenty for everyone and almost everyone asked where the food came from. Due to Covid, our wedding was put together in 3 months. CJ’s handled everything beautifully. Set up, clean up, making sure food was restocked, they were marvelous. I would be happy to use them again. “I very upset with Honey Baked Ham. I was at the Ferndale location Friday June 7th 2024. I purchase Ham by the pound and smoked turkey. I open them up to feed the family and the ham was burned in the middle and the slices were dry. The Honey Baked Ham will never this messed up. There were only end piece in my pkgs. The Quality of your produce is terrible now. But the pricing is so expensive. Please Stop putting burn dry and hard pieces of your produce in those pkgs. It's a shame when there is No One to check the checker. Thank You

The staff is very friendly and they make the food quick. There isn't much room to dine in but they have tables. I recommend them if you're looking for a nice lunch but don't have much time.“
