“Had an awesome experience at Pie Sci in Oakland Park. its hard to grab food on the go when its medically necessary to be gluten and dairy free. They do just that at Pie Sci! Picked up a pie to eat before the Tigers playoff game, game lost but Pizza was a home run!“

“My first experience at Pizza Cat and it was out of the park delicious. I will definitely return. Pizza was thin crust and greasy, the way pizza should always be!!! They can cater to anyones food alergys too. I got the traditional crust and it was superb. GOOD JOB OAK PARK TEAM!!“

“Ordered fried shrimp rice meal. The Lentil soup was watered down not as good as in the past.
I used to visit there for dine in on a regular basin however since covid my visits are infrequent.
Fast carry out service. Resturant was emptied of dine in patrons. I was curious why. It used to be busy with wait line.
The quality of my food was ok except the shrimps were very greasy.
The garlic was still very good.“

“First time going into this establishment so I asked the clerk to recommend something, and he recommended the Soul Survivor, which was a soft cheesy and delicious vegan type hamburger, and the Thug Passion smoothie which was banana, pineapple and strawberries, and was extremely tasty (maybe just a hair too small). I come for the vegan options so I don’t have to worry about my food allergies, but my family has enjoyed the non-vegan options as well. The environment is fun; Que is always wonderful to talk with and has so much to be proud of in what she has created here…and if you didn’t know - THEY ALSO CATER…and do cooking classes!!! Que’s daughter Kaitlin is great and I enjoy talking with her as well. We’ve been in for live dj and a loud,fun, diverse group of people. “AMAZING FOOD! The fried oyster mushrooms were to die for. The gyro, hands down the best gyro I've had, vegan or not. Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“

“A Californian and a Texan walk into a Midwest Taco joint… and are pleasantly surprised! Fun concept Tex-Mex menu with unique choices of sauces, meats, toppings, and shells to choose from. They have flights of special dips and signature margaritas, allowing for a fun and creative tasting experience starting with apps and drinks. For the mains, you can either build your own or taco/bowl/burrito or choose from one of their signature pairings from a large menu. They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. “The pizza is AMAZING! I think I can easily say this is the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. I first discovered them at pop up they had near Campus Martius, but finally got to go to their new home on Holden. The interior is pretty small, so not best for big groups but a date night or for a party of two is just fine. I wish it was closer to me so I could get take out. We got the Packard Pepperoni and the Mclovin pizza. Both were excellent, I loved the origniality of the Mclovin which was a nod to like a big mac. Anytime I can go again, I definitely will be. Check out this gem if you want to really know what Detroit style pizza is like.“

The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here!
