They have something for everyone and the service has always been amazing. I love the commitment to Michigan products from the wine to the snacks all the way to the merchandise. “I came in expecting the usual dive bar scene — sticky floors, cheap beer, neon signs buzzing in the corner. Instead, Rachael and Amy treated me like I had just bought the place. I ordered a regular draft and somehow it felt like they had tapped a keg exclusively in my honor.

Halfway through my second beer, Rachael joked about “opening a tab,” but what really happened is Amy slid me a crisp stack of bills and told me not to worry about it — like the bar itself was sponsoring me. By closing time, when most people were stumbling toward their Ubers, they casually mentioned my private helicopter was waiting out back behind the dumpsters. They then flew me across Italy.

If you want five-star luxury while drinking a $3 domestic, this is the only bar on earth where that’s possible. Dive bar? Maybe. But with Rachael and Amy behind the counter, it feels like Buckingham Palace with better beer.“

Bob and staff took excellent care of us!
Our group hit the buffet and we did have a period when the kitchen was struggling to keep up with the demand early on however no one went hungry for the evening. Hated to see full pizzas go to waste.
Team had alot of fun with darts, golf & axe throwing.

The manager is a warm and friendly fellow and all the staff are quick to help or offer assistance. Derek the Bar tender did a great job of attending to us and make sure we were comfortable. If you’re in a “rush” this may not be the best place to stop in. The wait for a great meal is not bad at all, but you won’t get fast food or Coney Island fast… and the quality food is way above. I highly recommend stepping out and giving this place a try!“

“Corner bar is an excellent place for the summertime! The music is great, vibes are good and drinks are delicious. I had the watermelon salad paired with a Hugo spritz, both classic choices. They have a summer capri pop up right now which is so cute for the girlies to hang out and take pics! Service is phenomenal, Angie always takes care of me so well. “We’ve always had good food and service any time we’ve been here. It’s exactly what you’d expect. But today there was a server(not even ours) who went out of her way to make my young sons(2&4) feel special. With a random act of kindness. When I told my son that I didn’t have any cash for the duck claw machine, she overheard and had pulled a pair of singles out of her book for my sons to “win” a duck. I didn’t accept it, because we have too many toys as is, and my wife generally keeps a little cash(which my son begged from her). I didn’t her name, but I hope her manager sees this. She is a lovely young woman 5ft(ish) with medium brown hair in 2 long braids.“

“My Dad is currently in the hospital battling sepsis. We’ve had a difficult time getting him to eat. He asked for lamb chops, so my husband searched until he found Filippa’s. “This is a great local brewery and restaurant. The turkey Reuben is fantastic. The outdoor seating area is spacious and has the ability to sit in covered or uncovered space. There is a great beer selection.

Afterwards, the Paint Creek Trail and the Clinton River trail are just steps away. Also, if you are wanting to shop, Downtown Rochester and Main Street are just a couple of blocks away.“

“Came in for an early lunch today and was pleasantly greeted by a sweet young lady at the front door. She had such a great smile and energy, very nice to see. Our server greeted us right away and was so upbeat. She took our order right away and our food came out so quick! As we were eating an older woman with long hair came to check on us. She was so nice and accommodating, asked us if everything was to our liking, if we needed anything else, and chatted with us as if we were old friends. We had such a great time that we will be back and hopefully see these three again. Just wish I would have gotten their names :(“
