“Went here as other places were packed today and would say this is a great spot for fried fish! Split a white bass and a catfish dinner which had generous portions and came out hot and tasty; not oily at all. Didn't get a chance to try the chicken but plan on coming back; and had we had room for dessert or extra sides there was a huge selection of traditional cake, cheesecake and puddings as well as every side you could want (and even some I wasn't expecting like falafel)“

“I reached out to Saddleback BBQ and Slice Pizza for catering for a large company event and they knocked it out of the park every step of the way! Brynn made sure we kept in touch throughout the planning process and modified our event order when needed. The day of the event, she arrived early with a crew of awesome helpers who showed awesome customer service the entire time! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh BBQ and all the sides - the mac and cheese was a huge hit! The Slice team brought out their mobile pizza oven and made fresh pies and breadsticks through the very end so everyone was able to get a hot meal. Dozens of people let me know how amazing the food was and we can’t recommend them enough!!“

“They removed the cheesesticks from the menu, which is my favorite. The manager/owner Joey came out to speak with me about it. He apologized and was very nice. You just don't see that kind of customer service anymore. I truly appreciated him taking a couple of minutes out of his day to explain the 'why' behind the 'what'. The food is great and the customer service is even better!“

I stopped by last week to treat myself to some holiday break pizza, and the two staff working recommended some awesome slices and just went above and beyond to make my short experience great. “Very nice people in here. Always polite and ready to help. They are patient with you and willing to explain any choices or options you may not understand. When you order they immediately start making your order. This can take a few minutes but if you know what you want you can order ahead by phone and have it ready when you show up. Very good selection of food that is prepared well.“

“Exceptional meals. I’ve had Egusi & Goat & the Mackerel whole fish and jollof. Despite the wait, the food is fresh & portions are AMAZING. I’ve been eating Nigerian food for years. LOVE that there is a restaurant in the Greater Lansing Area. I don’t like that it moved to EL but it’s worth the drive. I wish a groundnut/peanut butter soup was on the menu with fish and fufu thats my go to. Additionally, the website could be retooled for online orders. We have several Nigerian restaurants in Cleveland, Ohio so it’s nice to have a go to, maybe the only place to go.“

“Best Pizza (fast and reasonably priced) in Mason currently in my opinion. Mason has so many pizza options but this is top of my list. Sauce, Crust and cheese is perfect amounts to combine flavors. Very fast delivery also. I've only had 1 issue with them the 4 years I've ordered from them but I don't expect perfection everytime. we are human and it hasn't happened again.“
