“The food was great, and was ready in no time, the place is small but so cozy and the staf are super super nice and friendly, we didn’t know it is a cash only, so we canceled two sandwiches from our order to meet the few cash we have, but the guy there refused and insisted to offer us our whole order as is and they charged the difference on the house, they were so generous and kind, overall we loved the positive vibes a lot, thank you so much!“

“I give it a 5 because of personal history. My mom used to take me to the original restaurant when it was off of Jackson St. In fact, she told me that she and my dad went there the day after they got married. Pete's has been around a LONG time. The chili is a little watered down, but hey - it's still one of my favorite spots.“

“Another one of those greasy spoon/dinner type of places that I have passed a countless amount of times in my lifetime, but never stopped in to eat at. Lots of regulars so they must be doing something right.Decided to try the footlong Coney combo, which is a footlong Coney and fries for $6.99Beware, I thought this price included a drink because their other menu items have a combo option that adds fries and a drink. If I knew a soft drink was going to be an additional $2+ I would have ordered a water. Ya live and ya learn. The footlong Coney quenched my hungry pangs and the chili had a nice meaty flavor. The fries were plentiful and I had more than my fill for lunch.“

“Lefty's Cheesesteak offers a satisfying dining experience with its decent food and reasonable prices. While I enjoyed my visit, I couldn't help but notice a slight letdown in the bread department. The sandwiches, while tasty, could definitely be taken up a notch with higher quality bread and a greater variety of options beyond the standard white sub buns. The menu offers a range of flavors that hit the spot, and the prices are fair for what you get. However, the bread's role in a great sandwich can't be understated, and it's an area where Lefty's could excel with some improvement. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a solid meal that won't break the bank, Lefty's Cheesesteak is worth a visit. Just remember, while the bread might not steal the show, the overall experience is still a satisfying one.“

“The food at Leo's was good as usual. I ordered takeout online, it was paid for online. I arrived a couple minutes after the expected ready time expecting to quickly pick up and be on my way. There was a line that formed and went down the aisle between booths of people eating their meals. I felt bad for the diners that had to have people practically standing over them as they ate. I think the line is intended to go a different direction, but it's faster for people to wait between the booths. I don't really know. But I can't imagine the diners enjoyed it.They were clearly busy. The staff seemed overwhelmed. I had to wait about 10 minutes after my arrival before I got to the counter. I could see my food ready, but not yet bagged. When I finally got to speak to the staff I was told it would be a few minutes (because it wasn't bagged) and she went on to help the person behind me. Fortunately the person who can bag did so within a minute, and I eventually got my cold food. It reheated well and I enjoyed it even though it wasn't exactly what was ordered. Ha.I love this Leo's and will return but hope they can figure out a better system for busy times and so the diners don't have people hovering over them. They have always been extremely efficient prior to this experience. Looking forward to a better one next time!“
