“Glad I found this wonderful ice cream shop on Yelp! I was looking for something not mainstream. It's a short drive from our house on the west side of Kalamazoo but with it. I would personally recommend the strawberry shortcake and in the Autumn the pumpkin pie flurry.“

I alsi got the birria quesadilla and the mango and chile smoothie (forgive me, I can't remember the actual name). “Plainwell Ice Cream is the best. Currently closed for the season but during Spring Summer and Fall they offer a very broad selection of flavors plus seasonal limited time flavors. We load up before winter to protect against sudden withdrawal.“

“I was visiting town with a friend who took me here. First glance, you think ice cream shop but do not pass up this opportunity to get juicy tender chicken. I had the spicy chicken sandwich meal with the fries. The fries are cut in a waffle type style that is also "rolled" up like their ice cream. Really great meal and friendly staff.“

“The food was outstanding. My daughter and I had the fish dinner even though it was lunch time. At the time I didn't think about the meal being hot and fresh and tasty, because that's kind of what you expect when you go out. But the food was perfect, hot and fresh just like I expected it. The people who work there seem to go out of their way to help me. Maybe it's because I'm a disabled vet I don't know but everybody seems to go that extra little bit that makes the experience a pleasant one.Parking: Plenty of parking, it's right off the main Road from the highway although it is a bit away from the highway.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy level wheelchair accessibility. “The self serve ice cream has so many choices including dairy and gluten free. They are all delicious and you can then finish off your treat with an endless selection of toppings! It's so good! Side note, it is pricey so know that when you go for your treat.“

“I have been a loyal customer at Ritter's (Portage, MI) for at least 10 years and it is because of their delicious Icecream and friendly service. During my visit today, I was disappointed in how a member of the staff handled a mistake with my order. I am not sure if she was the manager or owner, but during the confusion of getting my order and charges correct, I was still unsure if I was receiving the correct change back, especially after she mistakenly gave me back the wrong amount the first time. As I was still trying to figure it out in my mind, someone must've spoken to her through the headset microphone she had on and she says loud enough for me to hear, "she's arguing about a dollar." I felt this to be quite rude to allow me to hear, especially since I was not "arguing" and after I waited patiently for them to make the corrections to the "mistakes" that they had made. Afterward, I relayed to her that I just wanted it to be right, regardless of if it were only a dollar, as I feel the dollars (and loyalty cards) I use to pay for my order are earned and mine. In all my years of being a customer, I have never been spoken about in this way. I'm hoping that it will be the last and that it was just an off day.“

Super small shop to give you that small town ice cream shop feel while being right in the city.Gives you that dairy queen taste that we all know right outside the broncos football stadium. “A fairly nice place to stop for some ice cream.The staff were nice and worked at a good enough pace (not that they should be pressured to work fast in the first place). The actual interior was fairly crowed, especially during rush, which was when we stopped in. The line was somewhat confusing, we accidentally cut the line because it was kind of hard to tell the difference between the online pickup line and the ordering line.The ice cream was fairly good, especially for a chain location. It didn't feel cheap, and had a nice variety. Obviously not the BEST thing in the world, but what do you expect from a chain?I will say that the menu was kind of overwhelming to choose from. There was just too much going on. I did like how they also had the regular names for items, in case you want to say "medium" instead of "Like it!".“

But Frosty Boy really did a wonderful job, with the addition of whipped cream, waffle come waffer, and a cherry on top. The pecans are salted, but it's just enough to complement the sweetness of the ice cream.“
