“I forgot to order a cake ahead of time and my son wanted an ice cream cake. I came into Menchie’s last minute, hoping and praying I could get a sonic cake made for him. I honestly didn’t think they would be able to do it but figured I’d try. I can’t remember who I talked to, but she was AMAZING! So helpful, super understanding, SO accommodating, she promised to have the cake made & ready in 24 hours. I picked it up this afternoon and it was the PERFECT sonic cake! My son said “my cake is the best cake ever” after his first bite! I’d say that’s a win! It’s absolutely delicious! I’ll be coming back for my daughters birthday(and a just because cake 🤷🏾‍♀️😂) Highly recommend!“

As a tourist, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the incredible customer service from Kenisha truly elevated the entire experience. “I have been a loyal customer at Ritter's (Portage, MI) for at least 10 years and it is because of their delicious Icecream and friendly service. During my visit today, I was disappointed in how a member of the staff handled a mistake with my order. I am not sure if she was the manager or owner, but during the confusion of getting my order and charges correct, I was still unsure if I was receiving the correct change back, especially after she mistakenly gave me back the wrong amount the first time. As I was still trying to figure it out in my mind, someone must've spoken to her through the headset microphone she had on and she says loud enough for me to hear, "she's arguing about a dollar." I felt this to be quite rude to allow me to hear, especially since I was not "arguing" and after I waited patiently for them to make the corrections to the "mistakes" that they had made. Afterward, I relayed to her that I just wanted it to be right, regardless of if it were only a dollar, as I feel the dollars (and loyalty cards) I use to pay for my order are earned and mine. In all my years of being a customer, I have never been spoken about in this way. I'm hoping that it will be the last and that it was just an off day.“

“Very nice, though hard to find (it's in the grocery store) gelato shop. Presentation is hard to beat. Prepare to wait a few minutes for them to make it properly if you get a cone. Staff was friendly. A little spendy but everything in the store is spendy because it's nice. You get what you pay for as the old adage goes“

“I got a turtle sundae, and it greatly surpassed my expectations. I thought it would be just a regular small sundae with the typical toppings. But Frosty Boy really did a wonderful job, with the addition of whipped cream, waffle come waffer, and a cherry on top. The pecans are salted, but it's just enough to complement the sweetness of the ice cream.“
