“We were there on a busy Friday night at peak time. Our server, Bonnie, could not have been better! She was friendly, prompt and observant. Besides a nice assortment on the menu, there were several daily specials offered and some unique choices for sides. My husband had the Walleye special with tater tot casserole and salad, I had the grilled shrimp special with brussel sprouts and creamy coleslaw. Both of our meals were generous portions, cooked and seasoned to perfection; even the sides were delicious! The restaurant itself is an older building; the lighting is a little overly bright inside and the decor nothing special, but it seemed very clean. It was crowded, but still not too noisy to have a conversation. We found the food a good value for the price, too. We will definitely go there again!“

“If you are in the area near Springport Michigan. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop at the Hotel Tavern. Great daily specials, fantastic hamburgers... But the pizza is amazing. Owners Mark and Dana do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and satisfied. I drive 30 miles (each way) for their pizza“

“Had a lovely bite for dinner with family. Friendly staff and great food! Ask for skull skins - Yum. (fried dough in strips with a cheese dip)We had a grinder, a pizza, cheesebuger and fries. All classic dishes perfectly presented.It was definitely one of the best burgers I've had in weeks.Nice atmosphere with amiable mix of local folks. Really enjoyed our meal thanks to Miranda and the cook who made our night. Will return.“

“I'm not a bowler really, but food was good, lanes are great quality, staff very friendly. Other patrons could have been a bit more civilized, but I don't give fault to the establishment for this.Rental shoes clean and in good condition, nice variety of well maintained balls for those like myself without one.Will return again to try more of the food and throw some more games.“
