“It's the go to spot (in the area) for fried foods! My go to order is the chicken strip combo meal. They serve up a nice generous portion of chicken strips with the optional lemon pepper seasoning added on at the end which is awesomely delicious. The combo meal comes with bread and a pop......I always get an order of friend corn to go with it as well----its the absolute chronic.The jalapeno poppers are on point too.Legend has it you can use a bridge card here......you buy they fry.?“

“OK the chicken let’s talk about the chicken there’s six different krispy chicken locations within a 10 mile radius maybe more., idk but that doesn’t matter because I won’t eat anyone else’s ? but here at this location. “This place is fire I have no clue who made, this chicken but they know what there doing the last time I had this chicken it was juicy and bursted with flavor. The lemon pepper powder on the fries and chicken gives it a nice kick the ranch they can either provide you with or you ask for it gose bomb with this chicken I'd recommend this place 100% Goodluck. since this will knock you out with flavor!“

Stopped by El Toro Bar & Grill in Pontiac, MI, and overall had a pretty good experience. The service was fine—nothing exceptional, but attentive enough. I ordered a meal that came with generous portions, which was definitely a plus. You won’t leave hungry.

The atmosphere is colorful and lively, though I have to admit the Day of the Dead skulls in the decor caught me off guard. They’re artistically done, but something about them felt a little creepy to me—not quite the vibe I expected when sitting down to eat. Might just be personal taste.

All in all, it was an okay visit with solid food and a festive setting. Worth checking out if you're in the area and curious.“

The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

I had the California burrito and asked to add cilantro and had no issues, in fact the person taking the order loaded me up with additional toppings and sauces that the burrito was filling enough for 2 meals. Also had the trio sampler (guacamole, cheese, salsa) with chips. Very filling. Great flavor profile. Will definitely be adding this to my list to return again.“

We worked with Kara, who helped us book the private room and coordinate our food selections. We had pizzas, mostacholi, rolls, and salad, and everything tasted incredible—our guests were very satisfied as well. Kara was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with, answering all of my questions and making the process seamless. The service during our dinner was excellent, and we have also dined at Parker’s Hilltop before and are never disappointed.
