“I love their burgers and the fried chicken sandwich. Onion rings are good as well as the hot pepper cheese balls. I gotta say I think their prices have gotten a little outta hand ($13.95 for just the chicken sandwich NO SIDES INCLUDED) Seems a little steep, but it always hits the spot.“

“Ive been to this location multiple times before. For some reason they believe this one to be the *best out of multiple locations in the area. I can attest to the carnitas being especially good here. This time I got steak burritos, which weren't bad. I still like the carnitas. We arrived between the lunch and dinner service and we're basically the only patrons. We took our time ordering, but they came back to check on our refills of drinks, chips and salsa. He got the basic nachos which had plenty of shredded chicken and more than he could eat. My burrito was good, mostly meat and cheese though. The rice and beans are just ok.“

“If you get the opportunity to be served by Logan and Jade downstairs, do not miss it under any circumstance. I haven’t been to downtown in a long time (I’m a country hick), and these two treated my group like we were the only people in the restaurant. As far as those two were concerned, we were royalty. While they were “just doing their jobs,” they were amazing. If the rest of the staff is half as good as these two, do not hesitate to stop in. We could not have dreamed of better service. I just hope we tipped enough for how they treated us.“

“Pups are welcome at this pub, score! This is just a stunning perch overlooking the Meadow Run Dog Park, esp. the pond area, and it’s literal heaven. Often times they have live music and/or food trucks on site, the dogs are beyond well taken care of here, and the staff also is so, so kind to guests. It feels like your personal ‘Cheers’ where everyone knows your name environ, it’s a must see!“

“Honestly...my experience here had nothing 2 do with food... shooting pool which is fun...but I had the pleasure of meeting the owner & got a complete rundown on him & the story behind Lamplighter...such an awesome guy...stop by & offer 2 help him finish his dream of finishing the Lamplighter... he's also 80...has a tendency 2 fall..but keep on working on the Lamplighter ??...I had the pleasure of helping him & learning the history behind the Lamplighter from the beginning 2 now...????“

“Had the coconut curry salmon special tonight. Probably the best salmon I’ve ever had. Generous portion of house made mashed potatoes, carrots, and a nice little garlic toast. Highly recommend!“

“I spawned in at the front door fractionally after a young lady set a sign out on the sidewalk advertisingthe place. It startled her and left me befuddled. Since I was here, I ordered a NA beer and a couple of mix drinks. It was record album and trivia night. I sat with a group of strangers that provided good conversation. The DJ (Dave?) ran some rounds of music trivia and interacted with patrons. The staff is great and friendly mixing up some tasty drinks.
I highly recommend grabbing some friends and joining in.“

“Great fried foods, nice little dive bar. Somewhat out of the way but it’s a staple. To be honest, I’ve gone there a handful of times in the last 10 years and the staff hasn’t been the friendliest or most attentive. Other patrons aren’t super friendly either, which is why I usually order take out. Drinks are average prices. Overall, the food makes it worth the take out order. Get the olive burger and mushrooms!“

“We came in after reading a review in a tourist magazine and were so happy that we did! Amazing vegetarian Apple squash burger (So delish!) and the “Beast” burger, Harvest salad, chili and cornbread, thick hand cut onion rings and brownie Sundae. Beer and cider don’t disappoint - I loved the cherry cider they made and my husband enjoyed the beer. Accommodating kitchen, staff and owners, we really enjoyed and will be back. Check them out“
