Toyo was extremely thoughtful and helpful when communicating with me on what would work best for my retreat. She worked with me on quantity and variety of juices for my guest and provided cute containers for each juice. She above and beyond in helping my store the containers until I could pick them up the day before I left for my retreat. If you are ever in Kalamazoo, try to get one of their juices. If you live in Kalamazoo and haven’t taken the plunge to try one, you’re missing out!“

“It was fine. I will certainly be back but it wasn't the best experience. This was my first time at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and while it won't be my last, I may be hesitant to return. When we walked in, we were hit by a very pungent smell kind of like something was extremely burnt. It was very off-putting and definitely not something I wanted to smell first thing in the morning or when I'm about to eat. The smell aside, it was small but relatively pleasant inside. As a first timer here, the menu was extremely confusing and overwhelming with so many options to choose from and many of which seemed to be pretty expensive. I got the peanut butter crunch bowl for around $12 or so and while it was good and filling, it wasn't the best. Even with banana, almonds, peanut butter, cocoa nibs, and honey, it still tasted pretty bland and for $12, though it filled me up, was a surprisingly small serving probably less than 2 cups for the whole thing. The service was excellent and I have nothing but good things to say about that. Overall, my first time wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write home about.“

The staff of 4 was running around and working so hard, and they were so friendly given how busy they were!
