“My high school planned a catered 50th reunion picnic on Labor Day Weekend. Unfortunately, our caterer fell through 3 weeks prior to the event. Luckily, Thomas's Catering stepped in and saved the day! Melissa was very professional, and we worked out the event details. I was more than satisfied with the event results! “John and his team were incredible both with communication and advice before our wedding on 11/26 and with everything on the day of the wedding -- set-up, tear-down, ensuring that my husband and I were able to enjoy all of the food, and checking in on everyone to ensure that folks were enjoying everything.
All of the food was easy for large events and broad taste palettes, but our guests also reflected that it was different and unique enough to make it stand out from other events that they had attended.

“After going to several events at Park place in Dearborn, I had my daughter’s bridal shower there. It was PERFECT!!! From the very initial meeting to set the date, to a few phone calls to get details decided, to the actual shower, it was easy and very enjoyable. The tables were set up beautifully! The punch table glasses were shaped like 2 hearts! The food was absolutely delicious and just what I wanted! The manager and staff were all so friendly and helpful, efficient, and just outstanding!! I wholeheartedly recommend Park Place for all events!!! My daughter was so impressed and happy!!“
“Absolutely amazing! Our daughter had a destination wedding and then an at home reception when we returned. We had Hogz Backyard BBQ's food truck for 175 guests. I can't even remember how many people complimented the food. It was probably the best brisket that I have ever had. And the sides were amazing as well. They were able to serve all 175 guests in no time as well. The DJ was releasing tables to get in line for food and he couldn't even keep up with their fast and efficient service. It was actually a little comical. And super friendly as well. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!“
“Premium Taste Catering did an excellent job catering our daughter Lauren’s wedding yesterday (6/17/2023). The food was absolutely delicious, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. We could not have asked for better. Chef Rashard and his staff did an excellent job! They are all so professional and friendly and even ran around the corner to pick up napkins for us that I’d forgotten at home. “11/11/2025 We had a small special dinner party planned out with Mike Eckles of Abode. We had to work around our guests’ likes and dislikes. He could not have been more helpful in planning the menu. Chef Aletha made the evening wonderful. They bring everything and leave the house in great condition. Nothing but praise for the delicious food (fish based, but not salmon), the presentation and her flexibility to make it a perfect evening. Her presence added to a wonderful dinner.“

“I've never heard of that place before and feel bad because it's amazing. I love their cherry chicken salad and carrot chips with that yummy dressing dip on the side. It's very rustic, fresh, and super tasty. My favorite sandwich place by far. Will highly recommend!“

“Szegedi’s Catering is hands down, my favorite go-to food choice. This family business has served myself, my family and every life event we’ve had since I can remember. All items are made by hand, daily. They have plenty of options for 1 person or a family of 10. Their homemade dishes freeze and reheat like you just picked up hot meals from their place. I highly suggest Szegedi’s Catering if you’re wanting a hot, home cooked meal... without cooking! I highly suggest their Pierogis and Meatballs with Brown Mushroom Gravy!“
“I was walking by and saw the store in Berkley, and decided to stop in. So glad I did! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I ended up with a delicious sandwich, bottle of Malbec and a drinking chocolate, as well as a new place to go for my charcuterie needs! Definitely check it out!“

“Laurel Manor is the most BEAUTIFUL venue for a wedding reception! Their staff is very friendly and willing to help out with anything needed. Our Laurel Manor coordinator, Alice, was pretty much like our wedding planner! She helped us make sure every detail of our reception was PERFECT! “Highly recommend! First time in and won’t be my last. Best beef kafta I’ve ever had and I grew up in Dearborn. Better than La Marsa, Shish, anywhere. Kafta is tender and not overcooked. They have the food fresh baked round pita bread, not the store bought. The dressing for fattoush is soo good. My server, Rumana, was so sweet and attentive. 11/10!“

“Elite catering hosted our wedding last night, 12-15-18, at the Belle Isle Casino and they literally wowed every single guest with their food, presentation and execution. The night went flawlessly and my wife and I highly recommend them not only for events at Belle Isle, but any venue you can imagine.“
