“My 9yo grandson wanted to try a new place to eat lunch today so he Googled restaurants nearby his home and thought this sounded good. So we went there and found his new favorite place to eat in the world! They had fresh cut fries which he raved about! Mimi, these are so good, way better than Mc Donald's! And those were his favorite fries , lol. He also got 1/4 BBQ chicken with spicy sauce, baked beans and garlic toast. I tried their Italian beef with peppers and onions. There was more food than we could eat and it was all delicious. The owner was very nice, helpful and personable but not intrusive at all. We required a to go container for my grandsons leftovers so he now had a full lunch for tomorrow as well. Food was very fresh and well made with large portions and the restaurant was clean and full of sports memorabilia. It's a delightful change from chain places and I highly recommend it.“

“Yesterday we recently visited Firehouse Subs on Westnedge Ave in Kalamazoo to celebrate our son’s birthday, his choice and it turned out to be a nice experience. He had been wanting their subs for a while, so he was especially happy we went.

We dined in and the atmosphere was standard, clean, casual, and comfortable. The food was as expected and consistent with what you’d expect from Firehouse Subs.

What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly and attentive from the start. When we mentioned it was our son’s birthday, they acknowledged it and were very kind, which meant a lot to him. They also brought our food directly to the table, which was a nice touch.

One small moment that stood out was when I asked an employee the name of the movie playing on the television. She kindly offered to change it, even though I just wanted to know the name to watch later. It was a thoughtful gesture that showed great customer care.

Overall, a simple experience, but meaningful to us and we’d definitely return.“

“This is a GREAT JIMMY JOHN's. My daughters and I were on our way to Chicago for the weekend and I accidentally left my card there. I didn't realize it until we got to our hotel. The manager put it in their safe and no charges have been made on it. THANK YOU for being an HONEST business. Hats off to you and your employees!! Our food was great too.“

“My last visit might have been my best visit to Jimmy Johns. I've always had good service but my last visit was especially great. It might have been the friendliest service I've received anywhere this year. Additionally, my sub was packed with ingredients. I could've easily eaten half of the sandwich and been full for hours, but I couldn't stop eating it.“

“I usually don’t do reviews but this place definitely needs the recognition. My boyfriend and I were really looking for a new type of place to eat at something a little more homey. When we saw this place we went in with normal expectations for the service was amazing. The people working were nothing but kind and charming, something about them made us feel so welcome. Let’s talk about the food though, When I tell you i’ve never had a better chicken sandwich I genuinely mean that. The portions were large, the prices were cheap. The crew went above and beyond to contact me to let me know they believed my card information was stolen and was being used to place several back to back orders at their store.I hung up and blocked the first caller after assuming it was a scam (poor phone service on my end made the callers voice inaudible + I’d never lived in, near, or even been to Michigan before). The staff continued to make efforts to contact me from their personal phones, and when I finally answered again they alerted me of the theft. Because of their quick thinking and continued efforts to call me, I was able to cancel my card quickly without any major purchases going through! Their local police even got ahold of me with case number to give my bank to ensure I would be refunded.I can’t thank them enough for their consideration and kindness towards me!!“

“Okay so Google ask for readings on location, food, service and atmosphere. It is a Subway so I think that basically answers most of the questions. The store was very clean. The single-handedly complete did a great job and built us a very awesome tasting sub. I recommend it!“

“We went there yesterday afternoon for a quick bite. We entered and the staff on duty went to their respective positions to serve us. It took a bit of time for me to pick which bread that I wanted because they no longer have photos of the bread by the breads named for choice. And that is a confusing pain! Why get rid of something that actually HELPS the non-regular customer make an educated decision as to what they would like their sandwich to be on? And it would also expedite the service given and thus help to shorten the line (if any). Other than that I would give them a five star rating because they always listen to how I would like my order and they come through with it. It's a great place to go if you like subs. Enjoy! :)“
