“I was there today at about 12:30. There were two young ladies working and it was quite busy. They moved very quickly and efficiently and were both very friendly. The one who made my sub suggested another dressing for mine because they are no longer using the sweet onion sauce. It was a great suggestion because the sub was delicious.Fantastic service!“

“I’ve tried multiple times to order from this location at 8:30 and they are never open. Door says they close at 9...maybe consider changing the times so people don’t waste time goin there. Love the sandwiches, but not being open during posted hours is a drag.“

“So impressed with this place! We literally walked out of Subway across the street where the employees look like they are on drugs and haven't showered this year to find Jersey Mike's. What a difference-night and day. Here they are friendly and helpful the staff are proud of their products and it shows in the shop, the ingredients, the cleanliness everything. “One of the best sandwiches you'll find in the city. Meat that isn't sliced until it goes on your sandwich, fine chopped pickles and black olives, and the Herb De Provence Mayo all take your sammy to the next level. Rogue Style is awesome, but the bread is sooo tasty, feel free to get it untoasted too. They also have some delicious rotating soups that you can combo with your sub. Oh...and if you need a bucket....some locations let you buy them for a dollar! Don't walk....run and get you some!“

“Boardwalk has been my go to sub spot for over a decade. Unfortunately I moved to a different state now, but anytime I'm in Grand Rapids I find my way here.
Their menu is great, but one of my favorite things to do is just walk in and have whoever is helping me create their favorite or experiment. This particular evening Kayla and Grace did not disappoint and gave me a great take on their turkey & prostini.
The staff has always treated me great and the quality of food has been consistently wonderful.“

“We tried this place randomly and we’re SO HAPPY we did—the food is amazing: fresh and flavorful!
Our family got 2 soups (spring for extra bread-it’s soft inside/crispy outside and perfect for getting all the rich and savory broth!), 2 sandwiches, spring rolls and summer rolls. Next time we order, I’m getting the pork lemongrass sandwich or the bun bo hue (THAT BROTH! 😍). The spring rolls were fine-nothing special-but the veggie summer rolls with sauce were so fresh and delicious.
The store (GR) seemed understaffed this Sunday afternoon, so the food took longer than expected, but the workers were doing their best and even double checked our order to make sure they hadn’t missed anything. A+ customer service and A+ food is worth waiting for! We’ll definitely be back!

Edited: We paid a 2nd visit during the Superbowl afternoon and our amazing experience was NOT a fluke. Everything was just as delicious as I remembered and, TRUST ME, do not sleep on the spring rolls! Looooove this place. We're adding it to the regular take out rotation!“

“We were in late yesterday to pick up a couple subs for a late dinner.we noticed how polite & helpful daman made my sub.Even made us laugh a bit. Great service which is hard to find especially out there in fast food world.Grateful for his great , kind & helpful service to help my husband order.Highly recommend the titan & club sandwiches.This is the only location that we will always go to from now on!!🙂“

The very nice people there had started in the back for me to come get it. They also gave me a free sub card, which was really really nice. Their sandwiches are great. Everyone there is super nice. Employee that made my sandwich was really nice and professional, and he did a good job, but the people in the back were not professional. There was a girl back there that screamed very loud, sounded like it was maybe out of frustration. But seriously it’s a sub shop with one customer in the store. How frustrated can you be?“

“Freaky fast delivery on a new level certainly consider this if your in a hurry! They had my food waiting and ready within a few minutes of putting in my order. Also tried there delivery service and they are again freaky fast. They are about 15 minutes out from my location but had gotten here within 20 minutes after I placed my order. Very good service all around and there drivers seem to be extremely nice and considerate. If you are a first here I suggest the chicken bacon ranch toasted sub one of my favorites for sure!“

“I thought I'd be sweet and order my sweetheart food. Named it "Sarah the Beautiful". The person who made the ordered labelled her Sandwich " Sarah the Ugly". *edited* The store handled the situation. The delivery driver took pictures for the Manger on Duty. The M.O.D. called the GM all before I could make my way up to the store. I'm told that '"human" was fired, was not the only issue with said employee. The GM did call me, I have not yet returned his call and will in the future after. Just got busy today. I could tell everyone was sorry and embarrassed that we have to have this conversation“

“My wife and I wanted Subway for dinner, but have had poor experiences with our closest store (Grandville). We decided to go to this 28th St. store. I had The Boss, and my wife had the Garlic Roast Beef. Both were really good! The service was good also. I wanted to point out that there was a young man behind the counter that obviously was in training. That's OK, everyone goes through the learning process. What stood out was that even though he was new, he greeted us with a smile, and asked what he could get started for us. Well done young man, I'm sure do a great job!“

“My husband and I have lived in this area for approximately three years. There was a period about two years ago, that we stopped coming to this location due to the food not being fresh, the employees were very rude, the restaurant was never clean!! I think it was about a year and a half ago we decided to give it another chance because we had heard it was under new management , we are so thankful that we did! This place has completely turned around! The food is always fresh, the new manager is an older lady, and you can tell that she is passionate about the store! This store is honestly the cleanest I have ever seen a subway, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the 1st shift staff are just wonderful now! Hats off to whoever decided to hire her! We now look forward to coming here! Every time we are here she goes above and beyond! THANK YOU!!“

“We went here today, and the kid named Spider Man on his tag, was amazing! I have been to subway many times in my 44 years of life l, but I have never had such great service and love put into someone making my sub until today. I don't know if it was how great his customer service was or the care he put into actually making a good sub for us, but it was the best sub we have ever had. He was so amazing that we ended up tipping $5 more before we left. I highly recommend :)“
