“Wow!! Nothing but wonderful things to say about Steve & Julie! They are absolutely fabulous to work with and beyond patient with us as we peppered them with multiple questions, as this was both mine and my husband's family's first wedding! Julie was with us every step of the way! Smokin' Steve's BBQ & Fried Pies catered our wedding and not only were we thoroughly impressed with their food, but our 200+ guests were as well! The layout of their appetizers were adorable and their dinner food lines flowed so well, allowing all of our guests to be fed in <30 minutes! They also made sure to offer accommodations to any and all guests of ours who had dietary restrictions due to food allergies. Not only are they perfect for catering weddings, but they are perfect for other events as well! We would choose their services again in a heartbeat!! 10/10 recommend! “My husband and I stopped at Sicily’s on Vernon Hwy for some authentic Detroit style pizza before leaving the city and it was amazing!! We tried the pepperoni and white pizza and were not disappointed. The staff were super friendly and the dining area was beautiful! Can’t wait to go back ☺️“

“The pizza is AMAZING! I think I can easily say this is the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. I first discovered them at pop up they had near Campus Martius, but finally got to go to their new home on Holden. The interior is pretty small, so not best for big groups but a date night or for a party of two is just fine. I wish it was closer to me so I could get take out. We got the Packard Pepperoni and the Mclovin pizza. Both were excellent, I loved the origniality of the Mclovin which was a nod to like a big mac. Anytime I can go again, I definitely will be. Check out this gem if you want to really know what Detroit style pizza is like.“

“Had an awesome experience at Pie Sci in Oakland Park. its hard to grab food on the go when its medically necessary to be gluten and dairy free. They do just that at Pie Sci! Picked up a pie to eat before the Tigers playoff game, game lost but Pizza was a home run!“

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! “Delicious Comeback!
This was my second time trying Zizo’s Pizza, and I have to say — it completely won me over this time. While my first visit was just okay, this time everything really hit the spot. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce was flavorful without being overpowering, and the cheese… absolutely melty and delicious. You can tell they put care into making each pizza fresh and tasty.

I’m really glad I gave them another shot — Zizo’s has definitely stepped it up, and I’ll be back again soon!“
