The logistics of the building is kind of tricky and their parking is not the greatest if you come by car. I would advise that you park down the street and take a short walk for better parking.”

“Kabin Kruser’s in downtown Rochester has a chill, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind. The nautical décor and cozy layout give it that classic oyster bar feel, even if you’re not here for the oysters.

The food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. We tried a few dishes from the menu and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy evening.

If you’re looking for a laid-back place with great seafood and solid drinks, this is definitely worth a visit.”

“Went there last night for a birthday dinner for my husband. Had a wonderful time! Food was excellent, the best steaks in metro Detroit in our opinion! “We had such a wonderful experience with The Home Bakery for our wedding cake! We worked with Mary, the wedding coordinator, and she did a fantastic job from start to finish. The free cake tasting was so much fun—we got to try several different cake, filling, and frosting options, and Mary was very informative and helpful throughout the process. We ultimately chose a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, and it was absolutely incredible. Our wedding guests gave us so many compliments on how delicious it was. We’re even saving the top tier to enjoy on our one-year anniversary! Mary was extremely responsive, professional, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend reaching out to her to schedule a tasting and to help plan your wedding cake. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this bakery!”

There was a Lions Football watch party& the place did fill up, which was fun for a Thursday evening in downtown Rochester. Highly recommended as the staff walk so friendly & service was great!”

“Last night my family and myself went to Grand Tavern for supper after a long day. Our waiter Xhorxh was absolutely amazing! Personally, I have dietary restrictions and explained to him that I am unable to have gluten, dairy, or egg. I had already pre-creeped the menu before arriving so I could find a meal that would be easy to hopefully adapt to my dietary restrictions. After explaining my restrictions Xhorxh was ON IT! He immediately spoke to the chef and the chef adapted my meal to my restrictions. Xhorxh did tell me that there could be a possible cross contamination with gluten on one of my sides and explained that they couldn’t guarantee that that one thing would be gluten free. Listen, not very often in the service industry do you come across a wait staff member or chef that made sure to cross all of the boxes. I ordered brussel sprouts as the appetizer without the cheese (I could have had three plates of that it was so good) and the cedar plank salmon and ordered two veggies as my side. IT was DELISH!!!!! Xhorxh also made sure that our drinks were constantly filled and took amazing care of our family. My MIL even made a comment after we received our meals how she really liked him as a waiter. I wished we had a Grand Tavern where we lived but unfortunately we are 8 hours away but we will absolutely be back when visiting family! ❤️”

The pizza was amazing (as always) but what really made the experience stand out was Bill’s customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and his kindness is what keeps me coming back as a regular customer. It’s rare to feel genuinely appreciated as a customer these days, but Bill made that happen. Grateful for the great food and the good vibes.”

The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. “The food was good but….. When I gave the waitress the cash to pay my bill she owed me change. She returned to the table with my change but not the coins. She turned around and looked at the wait staff behind the bar. One of them went over to the register immediately to retrieve my coins….. They already knew she did not give me all my change. She then proceeded to bring over the rest of my change.”

“I went there for a Porsche Club event, very nice atmosphere good waitstaff. We had a buffet dinner. Consisting of salmon,pasta,roast beef,baked chicken breast,potatoes,salad. The food was good they have a variety of homemade craft beers and a full bar. They have a live band on certain nights and they have a comedy night. I highly recommend this business.”

“This Chicken shack is clean and well-staffed. They are professional people who remember their customers and they're friendly and efficient. The chicken was great- hot and crispy and juicy inside. They made the potatoes for us with no butter and offered butter on the side which has never happened at the Chicken Shack we usually go to. I would have given it a five-star if the app or the website had worked but you have to receive a code in order to see the menu and after multiple multiple multiple tries I couldn't get in. So based on the food the service and the atmosphere it should be five stars”
