“It was a very enjoyable dining experience as always at this raw bar. Great selection of fresh oysters. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. Oyster stew was good to the last swab of my bowl with Muirs’ homemade bread. Never made it to an entree. Service was above and beyond as always. Last night restored our faith in dining out. Absolutely none of the food or service issues that we seem to incur almost everywhere lately. We will return soon. A special thank you to Calli and the other raw bar shuckers.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with The Home Bakery for our wedding cake! We worked with Mary, the wedding coordinator, and she did a fantastic job from start to finish. The free cake tasting was so much fun—we got to try several different cake, filling, and frosting options, and Mary was very informative and helpful throughout the process. We ultimately chose a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, and it was absolutely incredible. Our wedding guests gave us so many compliments on how delicious it was. We’re even saving the top tier to enjoy on our one-year anniversary! Mary was extremely responsive, professional, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend reaching out to her to schedule a tasting and to help plan your wedding cake. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this bakery!”

“I ordered the lobster roll with truffle fries. It was the closest thing to Main that I’ve ever had here in Michigan. It was fantastic. The tall owner checked on me several times to make sure that everything was perfect. The ambience is incredible. This is a must stop if you’re ever in Rochester.”

“I stopped by Ta Ta Bakery recently and grabbed a Tuna poke and a cupcake, and honestly, both were really good. The poke was fresh, and the cupcake was soft and just the right amount of sweet. The staff was nice, and the whole place had a cozy vibe. I’ll definitely be going back!”

“This Chicken shack is clean and well-staffed. They are professional people who remember their customers and they're friendly and efficient. The chicken was great- hot and crispy and juicy inside. They made the potatoes for us with no butter and offered butter on the side which has never happened at the Chicken Shack we usually go to. I would have given it a five-star if the app or the website had worked but you have to receive a code in order to see the menu and after multiple multiple multiple tries I couldn't get in. So based on the food the service and the atmosphere it should be five stars”

“Constantly good! I order from this particular store pretty often because they don’t ever disappoint me. It is a good pie every time I place an order. I pick it up and have it delivered, both ways there is always a friendly staff member handing me the delicious pizza I ordered.”

“Last night my family and myself went to Grand Tavern for supper after a long day. Our waiter Xhorxh was absolutely amazing! Personally, I have dietary restrictions and explained to him that I am unable to have gluten, dairy, or egg. I had already pre-creeped the menu before arriving so I could find a meal that would be easy to hopefully adapt to my dietary restrictions. After explaining my restrictions Xhorxh was ON IT! He immediately spoke to the chef and the chef adapted my meal to my restrictions. Xhorxh did tell me that there could be a possible cross contamination with gluten on one of my sides and explained that they couldn’t guarantee that that one thing would be gluten free. Listen, not very often in the service industry do you come across a wait staff member or chef that made sure to cross all of the boxes. I ordered brussel sprouts as the appetizer without the cheese (I could have had three plates of that it was so good) and the cedar plank salmon and ordered two veggies as my side. IT was DELISH!!!!! Xhorxh also made sure that our drinks were constantly filled and took amazing care of our family. My MIL even made a comment after we received our meals how she really liked him as a waiter. I wished we had a Grand Tavern where we lived but unfortunately we are 8 hours away but we will absolutely be back when visiting family! ❤️”

“The food was good but….. When I gave the waitress the cash to pay my bill she owed me change. She returned to the table with my change but not the coins. She turned around and looked at the wait staff behind the bar. One of them went over to the register immediately to retrieve my coins….. They already knew she did not give me all my change. She then proceeded to bring over the rest of my change.”
