Charles has exceptional customer service. It was my sister and I's first time coming into the shop and we were immediately greeted warmly, like family coming for a visit. We haven't tried the food yet, but the chocolate- AMAZING! A MUST TRY!!
First time there. Didn't know what to expect. Food was great! We will be back!

Old Rochester Train Depot is a restaurant in downtown Rochester, MI, described as a great little secret. The small, cute, historical, red building offers a friendly and traditional lunch/sandwich menu with soups and salads. The atmosphere is comfortable with good music piped in, and there are some family style tables. Prices were reasonable. The service was attentive and really nice, with exceptional customer service; guests were greeted warmly, like family coming for a visit. The menu had some great selections. The sandwiches were so amazing and fresh, and the food is amazing, so fresh and so flavorful. The chicken noodle soup was loved, as well as the club, pastrami and Italian sandwiches, and the deli boy. The American Charm and a cookie did not disappoint. The coleslaw had a bit of a bite with onion added in. The chocolate is AMAZING and a MUST TRY, and a couple chocolates and a cookie for dessert were yummy as well. The venue also hosted a 70th Birthday Party, and the space was very turnkey requiring minimal decor or things to bring; the mini sandwiches were a hit, and it was a very smooth start to finish.
