“Went to the J&w ice cream and grill fries and drinks straight nostalgia. Got a mega meal with a double cheese burger, fries, a drink, and a sundae with one topping. When I say I felt like I was back in time at my childhood ice cream parlor 20/10 on atmosphere and the food is a 30/10 on quality to price everything was made fresh in front of you. That's not even to mention the patience and care the staff put into treating each customer individually and making sure you have a firm understanding of the menu before placing your order. I truly can't wait to return.”

I was expecting to grab a decent sandwich but the food was great and the service was even better. The place has a nice little nostalgic ambiance, we got our food pretty fast, and Barb was so sweet. I didnt get the chefs name, but not only did he bring out a side of corned beef for my friend to try, he saw me airing up my tires and came outside to make sure everything was ok. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by!”

I typically visit Texas Roadhouse Roseville once every 2-3 weeks, and I exclusively sit at the bar, whether I'm by myself, with my wife, or with friends. The reason is simple: the bar service is outstanding, and their hospitality is simply unmatched. I'd particularly like to recognize two amazing bartenders, Jackie and Nellie. While all the bar staff I've encountered have been excellent, these two are incredible to watch together. Their teamwork and connection while managing both a packed bar and an intense service station is remarkable. They handle everything while maintaining genuine smiles, offering warm greetings, and delivering fantastic service. The bar atmosphere feels just like your favorite local watering hole, where they don't just remember your name, but know exactly what you like to drink. Often, my favorite cocktail is being prepared before I've even taken my seat - that's what I call exceptional service! I witness this same attention to detail with other customers too, as they too are greeted by name. Considering I'm only there every 2-3 weeks, their ability to remember customers' names and drinks sets this restaurant well above any other chain I've visited. This personal touch is typically only found in beloved neighborhood bars. In the 10 months I've been coming here, I've never had a disappointing meal. I've explored various menu options beyond their excellent steaks, and everything arrives with perfect timing, allowing enough time to enjoy appetizers or salad/chili before the main course. If you need anything extra (condiments, cheese, etc.), the attentive bartending staff responds quickly, even heading to the kitchen themselves if necessary. This recognition of the outstanding bar staff is long overdue. After experiencing their wonderful service again this past weekend, I felt compelled to take some time to write. Thank you for consistently providing a dining experience that keeps me coming back!”

The only reason I could not give 5 stars is the bathroom was disgusting. The handle to the door, the floor, the walls, the toilet, and sink were all clearly dirty.”

“Apple Annie's is still open. The gas station project did not go through. The thing to remember is that this place has a great little bakery up front.

Coming in to eat, especially to enjoy the warming bottomless soup varieties on a could day, it's easy to forget they have some marvelous desserts and beads to take home for later.

The food is still pleasant, but it's always a hot spot, so it may take a little time to get your order. They rarely disappoint, though. The specials are often a worthwhile seasonal choice.”

“I’ve been coming to this location since I was 9. Now at 60 years old My favorite is still their original square pizza & Italian subs. I’ve tried almost every pizza chain & to me this place is hands down. You want good pizza & subs then come here. They have all your party favorites. I’ve met the owners & they are very nice. Customer friendly too. Come support them you’ll be glad you did. I drive from 10 & Hayes so I can have the best. I lived in Roseville 21 years..You guys please don’t change what you do. “There was a 45 minute wait when we got there, but it was worth it. Beatrice was a wonderful server. She greeted us immediately despite being slammed & took our drink order. She was patient though we weren’t ready to order right away. She returned with our drinks and took our order. Our food was on the table within 15 minutes of ordering which was also impressive considering the full tables and line at the door, in addition to take out orders being picked up constantly.

Beatrice was not only attentive but an absolute asset to your establishment. She checked back several times, kept our drinks refilled, and pre-bussed as we finished our food. The atmosphere was amazing. The music wasn’t too loud and they played a wonderful blend of R&B and Motown hits. We decided this is our new spot over Texas Roadhouse due to the atmosphere and hardworking staff. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and evening.”

And a “small” order of sweet potato waffle fries which was big enough for us to share. We definitely will stop again on our way up north!”

“I was served a Heineken that had a broken top on it two times. I noticed the first time and told the redhead. She served me another one and put the broken glass beer bottle on the counter instead of dumping it. A blonde dreadhead served me the same warm broken bottle later on when I didn't even ask for another beer. I took a sip of it without noticing it was the same bottle from earlier and it cut my lip. When I brought this up to the redhead , she started yelling at me and telling me to not talk to her sideways. She then charged at me to attack me. Multiple patrons had to hold her back multiple times. I am owed an apology and the owner should find better help on Sundays.”

I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!”

I ordered on the app, and was done and got my food within 30 minutes (about the same as any other fast food place around here). “Food was great fresh and they had everything ready and atmosphere was great today and employees attitudes were great and friendly and professional unlike the Southfield and evergreen employees nasty highly irritated fed up staff”

“Food was fresh, and there is never enough staff available when needed. Each shift and crew is different. There are days you don't have to wait for food too long, and you can at least get a smile out of at least one crew member. Our McDoubles were a bit sloppy today. They also need to learn to double up on cup holders when it's more than 2 drinks because their cup holders are so flimbsy. Sometimes their pretty good about giving fresh hot fries but my last couple of visits I have to go in and ask for some fresh ones very inconvenient especially when you order through you mobile app.”
