The wings were massive, & the fries were still crispy when we got home! Not to mention all our order was done correctly and all our sauces on the side. “Roseville MI (on Gratiot Ave - # L470004): Stopped in (about noon time) after a long morning (which included a bad tire being replaced). Entered to a clean, warm environment (80's music in the air) and spoke with a wonderful and personable CSR named Darla who welcomed me and was very helpful with my order. Once I received my order, I was impressed with the professional attention and detail the entire staff performed with. Kudos for uplifting one's spirit on a bad day. It's greatly appreciated.“

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “Food at this specific daves is immaculate . Trust me i am a daves explorer. I tried daves in southfield, troy, dearborn and from all these locations warren is the best every single time they give the fresh fries and food . Love it .

“Came in today and had the chicken tortilla soup medium and the medium tenders and fries. My kids had the same but instead of soup they got waffles. Everything was amazing and will gladly be back for more. The staff were super friendly and approachable and big ups to front cashier and waitress Mari. “This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. “This particular captain Jay's is pretty consistent. Of course it depends on who's cooking that day, and yes, they have the occasional mishap like any other restaurant, but overall, that are consistently good. Their food is usually great quality and fresh. I visited this location about 3 times a“

“I love these people. I live two minutes away from vandkye location but I’ll drive out my way to get here mainly because they use white meat in the pot pie the other store manger told me himself that he use whatever meat he has leftover in the pot pie and taste gross 🤮

“This is my new favorite take out for fish & chicken. Their food is so fresh, fresher than other places I've tasted and it doesn't taste all greasy or hard. They don't take a long time to prepare your order either.
