Reviews for Astoria Pastry Shop
You will get hungry as soon as you get inside. I really liked their Pecan Pie. This place kept coming into my recommendations for my Detroit trip and really glad to have tried it. I really liked the location of this shop.
This is one of my favorite pastry shops whether I'm in Royal Oak or downtown Detroit. Sometimes the staff makes you feel rushed as your ordering your purchase but as long as you get a pleasant server you'll have a great experience.

I always love stopping at Astoria, so many great things they make I always find something delicious! My one complaint is their cookies suck... Just so dry and disappointing, they look nice and moist. However, they never are. So as long as you stay away from the cookies and go after one of the many other things there you'll be fine. My favorites include Canoli, cheesecake (many types, Oreo is my fav), Brownie's, torts, etc...
