“This is a bakery everyone kneads in their life :) pun intended. I already love crispellis for their pizzas and salads and finally ventured to this stand alone location bakery located on the less busy stretch of Main Street. The cafe has an amazing aesthetic and a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. It was cool to see bread being rolled and hand made thru the window, it is clear that bread is being made fresh and daily and this bakery has that artisan feel to it. There is a great variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and drinks that this location offers. I tried a carrot cake croissant and it was unique and very tasty! The only con I noticed is the trash was overflowing when I visited but I think I was there towards the end of the day. Anyways a great place to chill and enjoy a good pastry and drink in RO!“
“Delicious baked goods and excellent service. I LOVE their cookies here. They are baked just like my mom bakes them, not too sweet, baked till they are done and chewy depending on the cookie. I'm not a huge chocolate fan but that Earthquake cookie, which is basically a brownie type cookie is SO GOOD! My fave is the pecan cookie.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“New auntie Anne’s location inside the meijer on 14 and Coolidge hwy across from the plaza with Home Depot. Let me say I LOVE auntie Anne’s and keep it a stack, the appeal of going to the mall these days is to get a pretzel. I love cinnamon sugar, and my partner is all about sweet almond. Now I came here to this location specifically because it is somewhat close to the crib and I wanted to try the confetti nuggets. Personally the corporate auntie Anne’s should be ashamed because they do a disservice to what you actually think when you taste them ( just bread and sprinkles not that vanilla cake taste). Now the manager saw I was dissatisfied and was able to make me whole with the cinnamon sugar pretzels. When I tell you those were some of the best cinnamon sugar pretzels I ever had! I ate them in probably less than 3 minutes every bite savory and flavorful. Staff very friendly and accommodating providing top notch customer service. Got my lady the sweet almond joy and the best part is unlike the mall, some things are made specifically to order, it’s not just sitting in a heater or window for an unknown amount of time. Definitely support this business, I will be telling friends and family and may purchases grocers specifically from this meijers to get myself a treat for me and the kiddos.“
“I always find what I'm looking for, even at 3am everything is stocked or getting stocked its not crowded I can take my time and shop. I love that I can get my hair color here and I found the cutest summer dress. Meijer is my go to spot.“

“Whenever I go to dinner in downtown Royal Oak, I always try to stop at Astoria afterwards for a dessert. It's usually always pretty busy inside, but the line never takes too long. Honestly, I'm usually still deciding what to get (they have so many options) by the time someone is available to help me. Some of my go-tos at Astoria are the cannolis, coconut macaroons, and French macaroons. They always package everything so nicely, and I've never been disappointed by my selection. They have small seating areas inside, so you could either take your treat to go or sit down and enjoy it. Or, there are usually benches outside so you can enjoy your treat outside if the weather is nice. I've been tempted by the carrot cake every time I come in, but I haven't tried it yet. I think that's next on my list!“
“I saw the advertisement from a previous late night game show where the contestants were rewarded a gift certificate from Crumbl Cookies and there cookies looked so delicious it made me want to try them out. When I received my order the cookies looked just as they were advertised. One of the ones I ordered was there Carrot Cake , it was a mini Carrot cake enough for 2 people. It was delicious. The others were good also, but the Carrot cake was the best.“
