Seven Sundays Coffee is a charming addition to downtown Royal Oak, offering a cozy atmosphere for reading, working, or socializing. The coffee, sourced from La Colombe, and desserts have received high praise. The establishment features an array of baked goods from Zingermens Bakehouse and offers unique options like woman-owned business matcha. The knowledgeable baristas are happy to make recommendations, including their signature house nitro latte. This independent coffee shop outshines nearby corporations, making it an ideal spot for coffee lovers seeking quality and community. Their Iced Matcha Latte with strawberry was top tier and the Autumn Spice latte was very delicious and cozy. The cardamom was not overpowering at all and all of their syrups are made in house. Service was fast, quick, friendly, great, and the cashier was extremely nice and informative. The place has a beautiful clean aesthetic and the seating is comfortable. They decorated the store well. Though, the Seven Sundays Latte was too bitter for one customer, and the Chocolate Croissant was a little stale. Some found the coffee pretty good but overpriced, and the Oreo cheesecake a little too dense. The ambiance is usually busy but manageable, and some find the place sterile and bright.
