Subway in Royal Oak

“Subway has really gone downhill in recent years. And prices have just...crazy!
This particular location was okay, I still don't think you should have somebody in there working by themselves for x amount of hours. The poor kid just did not want to be there and it was obvious. I had a four sub order and he went through the motions of making them and just kind of, blah. The parking in back was kind of creepy! but the parking in front was under construction so; I'm guessing that's why the place was dead. and if I wasn't in a "need them" kind of situation, I probably would have walked out and found a different location. It was just dark and not inviting at all. Idk.
So with that experience; and lack of yumminess, plus ridiculous prices; I don't see myself returning. Sad, because I used to LoVe subway!“

“I have to say I wasn't expecting much for a fast food vendor set up on the inside of a discount store like Meijers, but I was really impressed. Our server, who was all by herself, really hustled and prepared our subs just the way we wanted them with ample portions of meat and condiments. We had the food to go, but would have felt comfortable eating there with the few tables and chairs they had set up. They appeared to be clean as was the floor. Better than many other subways we've been to. Keep up the good work!!!.“
