Starbucks in Saginaw

“I am writing this review in fairness to the Starbucks involved in my original review of this Starbucks on State Street in Saginaw, MI after the Thanksgiving weekend this year (2025); which was a really, really bad experience. But I think it only fair to them to give good reviews when things go well too! I had contacted Starbucks customer service to inform them of that bad experience; because if companies don’t know what’s going on, it can’t be fixed. They of course gave me extra stars & money on my Starbucks Gold Card; which I told them was much appreciated, but not necessary & not the reason I was calling with the complaint. (They did it anyway)! I was informed that the District Manager would be calling me; in which he did. This District Manager (don’t recall his name unfortunately)was very congenial & we had a really good discussion on what happened & how things were handled; and I did inform him that I have NEVER EVER had an experience like that at that Starbucks. He offered me more stars; which I declined because that was not the purpose or intentions for my communication with him. The conversation went well. I did tell him that I would be in that area for Christmas & would give it a try again; and that if it happened again I would not be patronizing that Starbucks again! We discontinued the conversation on a good note! So Christmas Holiday I traveled back to visit family once again! I patronized this Starbucks 2 times while there and good news; everything went well! Sometimes the stress of Holidays gets to ppl that are working these jobs; I used to be one in my younger days & I know ppl can be rude to customer service workers at times too! So with this being said; I will continue to patronize this Starbucks since it’s always close to my venues! On Christmas day; I did go there & they were closed; although Google said they were open! I really think that this location Starbucks needed Christmas off cuz’ they are always so crazy! But I did find a new location on Gratiot Road in Saginaw (Thomas Township) about 3 miles the other way; so I went there! Absolutely fabulous experience!! The barista was so cool with her little stenciled Christmas light bulbs around her eyes; I had to compliment her on those! My hubby thought they were really nice too! But, I did go back to the State Street location the day after Christmas for my travel back home; really good experience! So fair is fair! Giving them both a 5 star review on everything! As I say, Review the good & the bad!!! Stay safe & well!“

“Coffee was hot and tasty. Service was friendly and even mentioned that I could get a free refill of the regular coffee as I was sitting inside. The store is large, beautiful, and has many tables to sit at and the cutest patio. Place is great for hanging out or studying…. super spacious.“

“God please bless the barista that did my drink & my mom’s drink because she was very kind and sweet and I love her so much (as a friend!). I forgot her name, but she was very kind and even though they didn’t have the lavender like Starbucks has as their other location on the same road, she used raspberry for the whip and it still looked purple! Magic I tell you, she did magic! God bless her and keep her safe and well. Definitely wanting to go back again haha.“

“I work right around the corner from this location, and it's probably one of the most positive Starbucks experiences I've had whenever I come here! JaMarcus (I hope I spelled that right!) is always at the window, and he is the sweetest, so kind! Overall, the staff is extremely friendly and it's always a pleasant experience!!“

“A really good campus Starbucks! The baristas are always nice and friendly, and the location near the gym and library is awesome. It is a smaller cafe and seating can get limited during certain times of day and times of the semester. I would avoid ordering anything from the "secret menu", as long as your drink is common you will not have any issues“
