So much to look at.
Excellent perch
Our server Andrew brought our drinks, said he would return for our order. 15 minutes later he finally returned. Wasn't very approachable. Brought our food and the check at the same time, and never stopped by again. Other waitresses seemed outgoing and were checking on their tables. Prices are great, food is great, would return.

Fred's Up North Dining is reminiscent of a mom and pop diner. Tables and booths were clean, and the bathroom was clean. Food was very good, and prices are great. The country fried steak with breakfast potatoes is highly recommended. The broiled whitefish dinner was fantastic, ordered with the baked potato and side salad, and a cup of chili that tasted fresh and homemade. The fish tacos were delicious every time, with fried white fish, cabbage and a Chipotle sauce. Onion rings were good. A buffet is done on the weekends. Staff was amazing, patient and accommodating, though one server was not very approachable. Other waitresses seemed outgoing. It is a Great, Old American Truck Stop experience. Will be back.
