Robert, the owner, is very hands-on—always engaging with guests, sharing his knowledge, and even stepping behind the bar to make cocktails. It’s refreshing to see an owner so attentive and involved. We’ve never had a bad meal here, except for this past weekend when my husband ordered the filet. Unfortunately, it wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect—it was rubbery and not edible, but Robert immediately had a new steak prepared and explained that they were testing a new supplier. He genuinely valued our feedback and mentioned that the previous steaks were a big reason we keep coming back. I ordered the whitefish, and it was absolutely superb—perfectly cooked and served over rice with a lemon white wine cream sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We always sit at the bar and love watching the bartenders craft cocktails. They are personable, friendly, and make the experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in St. Joseph. Occasional hiccups happen, but the way they’re handled here speaks volumes.“

“Drinks are great! bbq was good as well! Need better staffing! was in to dine this week and Bartender was running around doing EVERYTHING in the front of the house. Kitchen staff brought a few plates out to different tables but didn't care to help clean tables off or help bartender in any way, instead when we stood up to leave they were playing on their phones in the kitchen. Work together and succeed together! EVERYTHING we've had here is great but seriously don't leave your bartender high and dry to do EVERYTHING in the front of the house!“

We shared the seafood platter and their evening special -Dover sole with summer corn risotto. It was all delicious! The restaurant was almost full after only an hour of being open so that’s saying something.“
