“We were a group of 3 senior ladies, traveling from Chicago to Traverse City, who stopped at Ida Reds for breakfast. They ask you to sign in and then seat you in that order. Phenomenal is the best word to describe our food. I haven’t had French toast as my mom cooked since I was a kid….I’m 73. Don’t like pancakes but I tasted them from my friend….gosh, what I’ve been missing! My other friend had the basted eggs with ham and fresh fried potato slices…enough for 2 people and WONDERFUL! Service was very attentive. Our biggest surprise was when we were presented with our bill. Haven’t eaten this inexpensively in forever. They hit the big 3..great food , great service, and great prices! Be sure to try it!“
