“We had a great time at this place tonight. Wednesday is AYCE pasta bar with a wide variety of pasta dishes, among other things. My husband loved the scalloped potatoes and lasagna and I fell in love with their strawberry cheesecake. I had the country fried steak, my choice of potato (baked) and side (salad - which was delicious - the added touches of fresh spinach, mushrooms, colorful bell pepper and more gave great eye appeal as well as a very healthy dish). Rachel, our server, was excellent. Stayed on top of all our needs, has a great sense of humor (give her a raise and a pat on the back, dad ?). We loved that the owner came to our table, welcomed us and made sure everything was ok for us. Nice touch! Thursday is an ayce buffet with things like meatloaf, BBQ ribs and more. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices - less than we expected for the amount and quality of food. We also love that this restaurant donates the extra food to our community food boxes (instead of just throwing it away). Great people. Great food. “Good food and service. Like all other places, getting pretty pricey. Simple breakfast for my wife and I was $26.00.Gave this place a good review in the past for its good food. However, very disappointed today. Ordered breakfast with a side of American fries. The fries were cold and looked like pieces of charcoal. My wife also ordered the American fries, hers were the same. We brought this to the attention of our server. She left momentarily and when she returned, told us she would take my American fries off the bill but not my wife's. Said because her fries are not a side, but part of the meal. Don't understand that logic, but accepted it in lieu of making a scene. Not as much that we couldn't eat the fries as it is the principal. Just may have been there for the last time.“

“Stopped by on 1/22/2024 for a quick meal after a swim meet in Manistee.Unfortunately they were short staffed (literally 3 workers). The gentlemen who was working the counter, drive through and delivering food was very nice. He never once showed how overwhelmed he was even when I ordered a chocolate shake.You sir, deserve a raise for your hard work, pleasant arritude and dedication! Job well done!“
