“So my hubby and I stopped by on our jeep ride. The kitchen was closing in less than 10 minutes (which we didn't know) so upon entering, we asked if the kitchen was open. The young woman behind the bar told us it closes soon. I've worked in the service industry my whole life so I almost turned around but the server made us feel like it was OK. The food absolutely slapped. Yum 😋. The service was on point as well as the drinks.
The only thing I will say is, I'm not sure why but, no music or anything. Maybe because they were getting ready to close. Anyways not only could I hear every single cook bitching about the orders coming in still, the downright disgusting conversations at the bar. Everything was great but a little background noise goes a long way!!”

“I have been ordering olive burgers for years now. Every time I go to Kalkasa. Last Friday myself and three friends all had burgers. The meat pattie was not the usual. It looked like something from Gordon’s or Sam’s. Tasteless. I can get a better tasting burger at a chain restaurant. For the price I expect a burger like the ones (3) I had every time before. Next time I’ll ask if they’re still using the same crappy meat I had last time I was in. If so, then I guess I’ll order some appetizers for dinner. Hard to screw that up! 🫰🏻”

I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because their pesto bowl was a little sparce. I could have gone for a little more than that! We had a fair amount of bread left after the pesto ran dry.
