“I dont give many 5 star reviews if at all, but Vic's definitely earned it. ✨️Cindy B ✨️ was super attentive and had great suggestions. From the bruschetta appetizer (so good it was gone before a picture was taken) to the carmel apple pie dessert, the meal and service were impeccable. We split the rack of pork (huge portion chops) that were honestly some of the best pork chops I've ever had. The village salad upgrade is recommended as well as the house dressing. I highly recommend Vic's for a fine dining experience. You may want to make a reservation in advance and ask for Cindy B.....bon' appetit”

“At the Southgate Mi. Carrabba's locstion, Tamika was a pleasure to have as our server! She was so polite and great to talk to. Lots of positive help. She offered some great ideas to try when we asked. One of my favorite entrees over the last three or four years has always been the pork tenderloin medallions with a very unique sauce. 😋 We both noticed that it wasn’t on the menu any more when I mentioned it to her. She apologized. She said “corporate” sometimes likes to have a different variety for there customers to try. She said that she would ask the cook to see if he could prepair it for me. She came back to our table and said that he could!! I was so pleased with my entree and thanked her very much for asking. I asked Tamika to give the cook two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻 for me for making that excellent tasting meal.
These are just a few of the reasons we always enjoy dining at Carrabba’s! My wife and I left feeling well treated by Tamika that evening. Oh! By the way, we also enjoyed the Blackberry Sangria’s as well!! 😋”

“Best Thai food I have ever had in my ENTIRE life!!! My mom and I were looking for a good place to go for lunch and were both craving chicken. We decided to pull over and try Suphan Thai Kitchen for the first time ever today :):):). Staff was friendly, fast, and restaurant was super clean!!! Clean bathrooms as well!!! They have a huge poster of all meal options above register. I ordered General Tso's Chicken and chicken spring roll. The flavors were very authentic. Lunch portions are very generous...enough to take home for dinner. Honestly, I have tried MANY Thai restaurants all over the country and NEVER had General Tso's Chicken that could even touch/compete with theirs. Prior to leaving staff kindly gave me a take out menu. Lets just say I want to go back already and get another order... ONLY thing I will do different next visit is order the Dinner portion, because it was so good I ate everything and wish I still had left overs for tomorrow. The left overs I did have...ONLY lasted 5 minutes when I got home after visiting my grandma today.”

“HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money here, they don't care *at all*. We ordered dinner, waited 10 minutes before a 20 minute drive to pick it up curbside. My partner called to say he arrived and they kept him on hold for 8 minutes until they came back and said they're waiting on biscuits. He waited even longer. I am sick and my meal was a simple coconut shrimp appetizer. Not complicated to pack up whatsoever along with his fish and chips and a salmon dinner for my friend (that the chef DOUSED with salt. I took a bite myself, it was basically inedible.). I then called to report these issues and they told me they're too busy (on a Monday night at 7pm well past any dinner rush lolol) to deal with me and they will call back "later... Like way later if you're even still awake" - verbatim from the hostess' mouth. 🙄 Didn't offer a replacement or a refund, just blatantly let me go without dinner and did ZERO to mend the situation. Absolutely asinine. We paid $70 for sh*tty fish and chips basically. 🤣 Save yourself the hassle and eat anywhere but here.”

“Just took my wife and her cousin out for a pre mother's day celebration and it was our first time there....highly recommended!!! Food? EXCELLENT! Service? EXCELLENT x2 ALI was our server and did an amazing job...brought out our food and drinks in a timely manner...was very attentive to our needs and very polite...the establishment is very clean as well which is always important. “This place is way better than another places in Wyandotte (China Star). This is what i expect when I order typical 'Chinese food'. Some other places try to put their own twist and / or spin on normal dishes but this place does it right.

“My cousin and I's favorite Boba place! Every time she visits me from Florida, it's a must to visit the Thai Place & BB Wraps & Bubble Tea in Southgate. But this time I'm a little disappointed with my drink. I wanted a shredded ice taro milk tea, but I got just a regular cold taro milk tea. I have been craving the exact drink that I was trying to order. Anyway, wonderful people, and I'm just leaving my comment here for improvement. Have a wonderful day!”

The amount of knowledge, health, longevity and peace I have gained by coming here is unmatched. The owner Sue is also wonderful and friendly and I pray this gem of a place blesses downriver for many years to come! Thank you to Jill for my overall health and wellness, Teena for my facials, body wraps, hair treatments, Rhiannon, Michael and Kelly for all the wonderful conversations we had on life, health and supplements and anyone else I missed. “The food was great; as was the service with Cynthia P, she pays attention to detail even extremely busy and has a great sense of humour. Since many people and their children have no concept of manners or consideration for others it is frequently exceedingly noisy.

Kid-friendliness: It is so kid friendly that staff are not allowed to ask parents to contain their children when said children are dangerously running around the restaurant unsupervised. Just imagine a tray full of food and dishes landing on a small child because the parents decided to neglect their child? Those same parents would sue the restaurant in a heartbeat when any such incident is their fault.”

“Was not expecting this place to be a part of the Hook and Reel restaurant. The Ramen was fair, I would rate it 5 of 10, 10 being the Best ever. The portions are Big, we couldn't finish our Bowl.
We Both chose Chicken for our ramen, but it was very dry and tough. Maybe precooked then added to the broth? Plus the boiled egg in the Ramen was ice cold in the middle?
It is a little strange sitting in a Seafood place having Ramen, but the restaurant overall was nice, clean, with 2 sections, 1 for Hook & Reel the other for Kinya. They just sat us on the H&R side. They are Both the Same room. Different Menus. Our service was good as well. Friendly Staff.
We prefer this location over the Taylor store. Always looking for a good Ramen.”

“I first discovered Galindo’s through their food truck where I ordered the birria tacos with the birria sauce — and let me tell you, it was love at first bite! The flavor, the juiciness, the quality… everything was on point. I was so impressed, I came back the very next day with my son and had been bragging about them ever since!

When the food truck hadn’t been local for a while, I didn’t hesitate to take the drive to their nearest restaurant location — a little over 20 miles from my home — and I have zero regrets. The recipe stayed true, and the food did NOT disappoint. Still just as flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious.

The service was top-tier too. The owner/manager personally checked in on us and provided superb service that went above and beyond. He even recommended their other location that serves alcoholic beverages — now that definitely caught my interest, and I’ll definitely be visiting soon!

To top it all off, their prices are fair and reasonable for the quality you get. I’ve purchased from Galindo’s three separate times now, and each time, they’ve nailed it. Consistency, flavor, service — they’ve got it all.

“Today 4/22/2022 we had a disappointing experience with our purchase at The Pasty Shop. I ordered (2) regular beef pasties at 2:00 for pickup at 4:00. When I got them home and cut into them they were extremely dry, had no onion, and the inside of the crust was burnt. I have dealt with the pasty shop for many years and this purchase was very disappointing. Wayne A previously loyal customer”
