“If you are in the area near Springport Michigan. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop at the Hotel Tavern. Great daily specials, fantastic hamburgers... But the pizza is amazing. Owners Mark and Dana do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and satisfied. I drive 30 miles (each way) for their pizza”

“This is our first time visiting Foundry Bakehouse and we absolutely loved it. We had lunch there trying several different sandwiches in our group. All were wonderful! The cookies were delicious. There were so many other things we wanted to try but there was no room left to eat it! This is a place we would definitely recommend and would return to often. We came in from out of town with a large group of college kids and made arrangements for catering. They had everyone’s orders correct and accommodated dietary restrictions and allergies without any fuss. I highly recommend Foundry Bakehouse! I wish there was one in my community.”

“Authentic Mexican cuisine in a family owned and operated local restaurant. As such the staff is very responsive, kind, and helpful. The decor is understated, but tasteful. The menu is well varied and they will prepare and spice the food as you desire. I had the Birria Tacos Lengua with accompanying consumme and was absolutely blown away. The restaurant is definitely family/kid friendly with ample parking and is handicap accessible.”

Bar does have a sports bar feel without having a rowdy atmosphere like other sports bars.Parking: There is more parking on the side of the Bar and behind the bar.”

“It is a mostly standard Mexican place. Portion sizes and prices are reasonable.The atmosphere feels very hometown, very cozy.Chips still come with the meal without question (not true of some now). I didn't love the salsa, but they had a taco sauce that was really good my uncle knew to ask for.As a random treat for my kids, the train looks like it'll come directly into the store. Not sure how often it comes by, but that was cool.”

“I live in TX, but every time I visit the Mitten, a visit to Frosty Dan’s is a MUST. Not just once, or twice, sometimes 3-4 times. Locally-owned, small mom and pop shop with the best ice cream, Chili dogs, and Slushies around! Eat it there, under a covered patio with picnic tables, or take it to go! Thank me later…”

“For a gas station, they have good pizza. They sell it by the slice, or you can order a whole pizza. Crust is great, toppings are good, but sauce lacks flavor. In my opinion, if they changed their sauce, it would be a 5 star pizza.”

“I drove today from Jackson to Parma and stopped in had a Coney Dog fries and hot fudge sundae the staff was very polite and courteous got my food quickly and it was great I traveled there quite often during the summer”

“Subways are always so harshly rated - this Subway is clean, the bathrooms were even clean. This Subway was well stocked, the veggies were vibrant, the bread fresh, and the chips were the choicest. The staff was friendly and fun to talk to. Haters beware, I passed through town and give this subway 5 stars.”

It is also a museum reflecting the history of the town, which also includes a very inclusive Boy Scout Museum Collection. Additionally there is a small village with vintage shops and chapel for touring. Miller Farms offers more than just a refreshing cone or sundae, but a trip back into rural and farming history.”
