“We spent the afternoon e-cycling between Sutton’s Bay and this winery. What a great stop on our way! We drank some really nice wines and enjoyed a lovely charcuterie board as well. A beautiful stop that we will certainly make again and again!“

“I had a sandwich at Lylah’s today, amazing quality and could easily had fed two people. The flavor was incredible. I am happy to say this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Leelanau county. “This is a favorite of ours! Beautiful grounds, great location between Traverse city and Suttons bay, a wonderful suite we stay in that is on the first floor. Also, it's just like home from the demeanor of the Inn Keeper to access to all areas including the library and pub, with plush leather seating and decor reminiscent of a classic fox hunting lodge. Breakfasts are special and delicious. Wine tasting room next door, grapes growing alongside, view of the horse pasture and great walking trails. What more could you want??!“

“Truly a special meal. This was BETTER than the photos. Every single thing we ate (baked mozzarella, parfait, salmon Benedict, apple pancake) was so incredibly delicious. Honestly the best meal of the trip. Service was also wonderful. So glad we made the trip out here.“

The wines were solid across the board, but the standout for me was the “sandpainting” Champagne-method wines. Once they warmed up a bit in the glass, they showed real complexity and impressive length. I bought some back vintages they had in the back to compare.

He kept our drinks filled, very knowledgeable of the menu, made sure we had everything we needed, and was a very friendly pleasant individual. “Delicious ciders. Tried the Sangria and the Apple Crisp. Both were very tasty. Price was fine. We went and sat out on the patio chairs and enjoyed the view of the bay and the surrounding area. Very nice. Must be a popular place with popular drink because had some local customers ordering A LOT of the beverages to take home. Service was excellent and friendly. Highly recommended if you like hard ciders.“
