“Well - I just am not the fan of fast food anymore. Not just McD's. But out walking a trail near this location and not have been here in years - had a crave for fries.I was impressed here. Giving 5 stars for more than just food (I just ordered two regulars and fries - all was good and prepared well - but we all know the taste of McDonald's).What impressed me here... A location that has not converted to all kiosks, they still have cashiers. VERY CLEAN, spotless. I observed. (granted, was late and not busy - but you could tell this location has high standards). And friendly greetable (word?) staff. This location is a winner for me.“

“We had a great evening here - enjoyed the Kegger burger as it was fresh and well balanced.- delicious. We will be back for the burger and to try more of the menu. We enjoyed flights of beer and incredible service from the bar manager, she is informative and there are excellent choices. “First time trying this place, and I was shocked by the amazing customer service and fast order delivery since some of the comments online weren't what you'd like to hear when looking for somewhere to eat. However, it was the opposite of what I expected. The food was delicious and quickly delivered. “It was my first time dining at STH and it wouldn’t be the last. My crab cake appetizer was great and I had the Chuckawalla chicken without the goat cheese and it was delicious. While I was placing my order our waitress asked if I was happy with the sides it came with or if I’d like to change them. No one has ever asked that before. I had the asparagus and swapped out the mashed potatoes for the brussel sprouts. The only thing that could have been better was if the asparagus had been seasoned better. A little salt and pepper fixed that. An all around great experience.“

“Tried their new bacon bacon burger for $9.99 and it was delicious! Our waitress was a doll and I felt terrible because I must have knocked my receipt on the floor and she had to spend the time getting her manager to reprint it so she can run it through the credit machine. She was so sweet about it I just hate making somebody's job harder than it needs to be.“

“This diner is me and my father's FAVORITE place EVER. We go there almost every weekend, and the food is always delicious! The employees are always very nice and know us, and the drawings left by one of the employees that are at the register glass are lovely. The food is delicious, the building is gorgeous, the atmosphere is cozy and wonderful, the employees are kind, overall, I 100% recommend going here! I recommend the saganaki highly.“

“Best burgers in Michigan, and I mean that!Compared to more expensive burgers at steakhouses and family run Pubs in the area, they still win. Everything from the perfect buns to the fresh meat, everything is delicious.I’ve tried several versions, but my favorites are the Detroit Coney and the Truffle burgers.I crave their chili cheese fries, even though all fries are waffle cut they’re almost better that way. I wish they had more options for sides but the burgers really shine. They even have a pretzel bun option.Recently I moved closer, but previously had them Doordashed over to Shelby. It’s very convenient to have them down the street!“

“I work near by and stop by frequently. FRIENDLY-ISH customer service (they sometimes assume you should know the menu as well whe as them?) GREAT food options. But the quality varies. And so does the wait times. Not the most efficient. Will I come back YES, AND recommend YES. “I've been going here for about a year and a half now. Straight up best burger I've ever had in my entire life. The cheeseburgers are delicious. The patty melt literally gonna melt away any doubts about you eating healthy ever again because it's so good you're going to order ANOTHER ONE.GREAT value when it comes to portion sizes on the sides. Milkshakes are also good too and it comes smooth enough that you can drink it right away without having to wait for it to melt a little bit, like you do when you order a milkshake at McDonalds.HIGHLY RECC 999/10“

“Great burgers, favorite is the gourmet burger with goat cheese. Have heard good things about all their other food as well. There is usually a wait for food (sometimes over an hour) but the waitresses will let you know. Very small inside , they have tables and a bar area. Highly recommend!“

“10/10 restaurant! TLDR: Big portions, request Scott as your server, and have the burger!Our server tonight (Scott) was amazing. My mom and I had come in a few weeks ago and our server (a girl with a braid, we saw her again tonight) was OK but not the best. She seemed uninterested in us/our experience, beverages took a long time to come out (even waters), and we felt ignored throughout the meal. We didn’t need much so this was OK, but it did stick out to us. However, the food was obviously so good that we were drawn back in. We returned tonight and had the best time! The food might’ve even been better than last time (which is a high bar to reach), and our server was quick with beverages, knowledgeable about the menu, and seemed willing to go the extra step for us to be happy. He talked my mom into having a dessert (which was huge but very delicious, we ended up splitting it!). I haven’t seen her so happy from a meal in a long time. We absolutely will be returning with no hesitations and we will request Scott if he’s working and has room for us! P.S. The host is also very accommodating, we have bad backs so the booths don’t work well for us and she happily placed us at a table with no issues.“

“The fish & chips is excellent. Possibly the best I've ever had. The blackened Mango Mahi is also very good. I haven't had anything else but I'd bet you probably couldn't get a bad meal at this place. The only thing I don't like is the inside dining room is small and usually VERY noisy. The dining room under the tent is always chilly in the fall and winter. Every server is always attentive, professional, and hospitable.“

“My mom and I stopped in to pick up a carryout after running errands. Wow! The service was incredible. The cashier/waitress was friendly and took our order right away. She was cheerful and polite. Within a few minutes our order was ready to go. The other waitress walked out to-go order over to us. Very good customer service and our lunch was fantastic, hot and fresh. This is great to know since we're over in the area quite frequently. Plus, I saw in the cooler they had slices of cake and pie that looked beyond delicious. “I usually LOVE this place. But the food has been very inconsistent lately at the Troy, MI location. I get the same thing every week. And every week it’s a little different. I get the mixed platter. Last week there was no sauce, and I always order extra on the side, but the little cup was only half full. So, no sauce on the platter, and barely any on the side. This week there were more onions than gyro/chicken. Barely any meat; very meager portion. And still, side of sauce only half full. Super disappointed. I’ll give them one more chance, then I’ll have to stop giving them my business.“

“The food is very good, especially the burgers, onion rings, blackened tenderloin tips, macaroni and cheese, and coleslaw! Service is attentive and they have an amazing beer selection. They usually have the lights dimmed a bit and have music playing in the background creating a nice ambiance. Highly recommend!“

“I had my birthday celebration at Sportmens Great Northern Grill. The owner Tom and manager Nicole made sure to make my day the most special! I was able to rent one side of the dining room. I was able to decorate my area however i wanted tables, balloons, and centerpieces etc.. Jen the waitress, was the kindest and so very thorough in the care and service for my family and friends. The bartenders Sam and Bri were super attentive to not only my party but the customers at the bar. Overall it was an amazing afternoon and i would certainly allow Sportsmens Great Northern Grill to host any event of mine in the future.“

“When sitting customers with small children/3 yrs old or younger you should take an account where you're placing them. To have a screaming 3-year-old sitting by our group of adults, having cocktails was not enjoyable. We could not have a conversation. We unfortunately, had to cut our day short because of this. I was and will remain very disappointed. I was a server for years and never did this. We had a policy and followed it regardless of what the customer wanted. Family should be sick with families. A group of adults should be placed with other groups of adults. We should not have to watch what we're saying and how we're saying it.“

“Clarkston location, lunch 2/14/24. Decent craft beer selection, for our IPA tastes. The Smokehouse fries were probably the best "loaded fries" I've ever had. “The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for atmosphere is because it was freezing cold in the dining room. If there was an issue with the furnace, they should have posted a note on the door, giving people an option as to whether or not they wanted to dine in.“

“I tried out this location for delivery. I ordered the Ribeye Steak.It was made exactly how I ordered it. Some places struggle, but this location didn't.It was also a Saturday night. They were still able to make the order very quickly, and it still had great quality and presentation.This location is highly recommended.“

“I enjoy this Coney. My family of four comes often. The staff has always been pleasant and the service is fast. My one complaint is the women's bathroom. The towels always seem to be on the counter getting wet from people using wet hands to get some. A little tlc would go a long way in the bathroom. “The last 3 orders at Culvers drive thru, each time other cars behind me have received their food and I had to go in and request my order. The last order on 2/7/24 waited 25 minutes Twice the manager stated the charges for food would be reversed on my card due to the long wait but it never happens. Very poor service from Culvers employees and manager.“
