“Had a rehearsal dinner with 34 people in the private room. The food was very good and the staff extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. Staff was genuinely concerned with seeing to our wishes, as did the owner Spiros. A truly great place for a gathering of friends or large families with exceptional value and quality. Was perfect for us and we are thankful for the experience!“

“The beer is really cold and with a good selection. All the food we have tried is very good and we have been there 5-6 times now. I really like the club sandwich and they have gizzards for an appetizer which is rare to see on menus today. On Fridays they have walleye fixed several different ways, all tasty“

“I try to eat it Alpha at least twice each summer that we are in Michigan. This year. I made it only once, 10/1/25. Stephanie was an amazing waitress, attentive to every little wish. The specific details added to my omelette were completely fulfilled by the kitchen chef and she gave me one of the best I’ve ever had! The coffee was good too, for this coffee snob. Clean environment, quick service & attentive support staff. You will enjoy Alpha Koney Island.“

“I just wanted to say my family and I came in the other day and we had a server named Brittany she was awesome!!! She was very friendly and we really enjoyed her & she did a great job!!! These days customer service is usually terrible so it was very refreshing to have a server like her who actually cares about the customers keep up the good work we will definitely be back!!!!!!“

“First time guests; atmosphere was fun; seating was comfortable; our waitress was amazing, she was working very hard and had alot of tables; food wasn't too bad, worth the wait!
You have to get their early because they fill up fast!
Overall, a great place to go have dinner with your significant other or group of friends!“

“We went there for dinner last Thursday. It wasn’t very busy, staff were all very friendly and the food was good. (Pizza, salads, burgers, sandwiches & appetizers.) Kind of felt like going to Cheers from that old sitcom. Give it a try.“

“My orders was mistakenly taken by another customer. The manger in Christmas Eve was gracious kind, and very accommodating very quickly. It’s the best bioethics experience I’ve had in many years even though I don’t live in the area it is superb. He was amazing.!? I feel he should be commended for his amazing service and inspiration to his staff“

“We had Danley’s Country house cater our mother’s celebration of life. We couldn’t have been happier. Everything was excellent. We had fried chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, potato wedges, green beans, corn, a vegetable tray, and a fruit tray. Pricing was great. The staff were very helpful and great to work with. Thanks Darnley’s crew and Kayla for making this a stress free experience 😁“
