“Went to get a bowling pin for a birthday and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I have bowled and ate there in the past over all great service. It’s often busy on the weekends but for good reason! Definitely recommend checking this place out!“

Drawback is there are not alot of tables. It is kinda small. I'm told there is a line out the door on certain days. I suggested it to Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, so we'll see what happens. “Absolutely confused why they closed the location on Reynolds Road near Maumee a few years ago. Loved that one and missed it dearly. Visited this location hoping it was still a home run and my goodness it’s even better!! The Memphis Mac is a 10/10 must have and they have bottomless fries!! $13.99 for a huge delicious packed grilled cheese and bottomless fries is incredible!! “We came in town to spend some time to unwind at the lake. The Tale is 1 mile from our AirBNB and came recommended by our host. We came on a Monday and were greeted by the owner, Roger. Clean, updated bathrooms, cold beverages and good conversations with patrons. I don't come to a watering hole to eat so not having food doesn't matter to me. There's chips and snacks for sale if you need them. We will be back on our next trip! Bonus: I won on Keno! ?“

“My family is here at least twice a week. You will not find a better service staff in the area. Food is delicious and they offer chefs specials on weekends and keeps the menu rotating. As a family dealing with gluten allergies, this is a great place to keep on your list if you have special food requirements. They are very careful with customer food needs. “We went to Sodbusters on a Wednesday evening (7:30) to hear The Chefs of Dixieland, Ragtime Rick Grafing's band. We expected it to be good music, but it was more. It was an experience, not a performance. We were totally immersed. We felt absolutely transported into another era. At one point, the trombonist sauntered through the cafe as he played ---so fun. We only had drinks, and the prices were very reasonable. We had the feeling that a lot of the people there were regulars. We'd rather listen to live local music than go to a big concert. We will definitely do this again.“

Went early in afternoon on a Saturday so place was quieter than usual. To-Go canned options are staggering. Becoming one of our favorites when visiting Toledo.Wheelchair accessibility: Single door entrance in front. Curb cuts from the parking lot. The bar is all high top seating but plenty of tables with moveable chairs for everyone. Bathroom accessible. Might be challenging for people sensitive to loud noises if a game is on or trivia night. Some to-go beers might be out of reach for some but staff is willing to help if needed.“

“Came here one of our first nights after moving here from California. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The ‘pies’ were a bit unusual looking at first, being cut into squares with the cheese covering the toppings… HOWEVER, taste is the name of the game. And they tasted incredible. I prefer a slightly over cooked pizza and they did not disappoint. I am a fan of browned cheese on the edges and it was perfect. I watched the young man hand stretch the dough, which was really neat to watch. And the garlic bread was something I will order every time! Everyone said let's go to Barbie's Place. I had plenty of nights that kept going for a day or two. It was not my 1st time there but it was my 1st time going in the morning. The parking lot started filling up to my surprise it was a lot of people waiting for the door to open. When they did people came in non stop. By 6am it was at least 35 or more people drinking, eating, playing games and shooting pool. More kept coming. Missy the bartender made working behind the bar look easy providing each customer with quality service.“

This motorcycle Club is amazing at helping people that are coping with heartbreaking circumstances ??1 was for a person that died and didn't have insurance. Their family was able to fully pay for the funeral.1 was for a person that was attacked with a baseball bat. This benefit was for medical expenses and they did very well.“

“This is a nice local bar close to the boat launch. It's always a good place to grab a drink and a bite to eat if you are in the area. I really like their perch because it is fresh, crispy and very light and flaky. The fried pickle spears with homemade ranch are delicious as well. There is a jukebox and keno available and the crowd is friendly.“

“Tood the guys from work with me this time. Everyone loved their food. Great service, great sandwiches! Only complaint would be the soft drinks tasted weird. No problem though, the waitress apologized and brought new drinks to us right away with no questions and remembered not to charge us for the strange tasting ones. They also got my burger right with no issues at all (and nobody does that...)! I LOVE this place and you will too!“
